IMO we just have to do ultra defensive... Like the side/approach Carrick took against Chelsea.
Get some stability and sense of direction back and build from there...

Believe me when I say it’s not a good or permanent solution. It’s just better than two players who know that the crowd is constantly on their backs and any little mistake will get groans. These two I mentioned either have a desire to prove a point or in Eriksen is a absolute professional.

I think it’s fair to say that when Maguire joined we all had high hopes. The deterioration that we have all witnessed has been nothing short of cataclysmic. He’s obviously not good enough any more but also has lost all confidence and doesn’t know how to get back feeling good about playing football. It’s hard to fall so far. Doesn’t make it any easier for the fans mind…
