Gomes isn't great either. Holds onto ball way too long and just seems to get out muscled alot. The midfield is ponderous and mo just can't get into the game.
And we literally have no one to put on to change the game.
How we could get rid of 3 attackers and I will never know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Origi and minamino have no impact at all on the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Erm they are squad players their role.was to make impact coming on as subs or when there are injuries which I think they did. We had a good squad last year. We then go and sell all three. Surely we could held mini.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed they scored some vital goals.
Orgi vs Barca and Everton to name a few
And without Taki last year we would’ve won nothing
Can go on about signings all night long but we are up against a team here who have about 4 players out themselves and weve barely laid a glove on them.

At the end of the day FSG’s strategy has gone as far as it can. It’s done incredibly well to be fair but sheer weight of money has ground it down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's be honest, we are one more mega money team away from the premier League being completely pointless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last 9 years: 7 wins by financially doped clubs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But it will soon be at the point where there are 3 guaranteed top 4 teams purely due to money. If it gets to 4 then what's the point?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dunno, that's exactly what the ESL was hoping to stop though wasn't it.
Limits on spending and wages to ensure a more level playing field.
I think that's the last chance to prevent thos doping.

Our 2 first choice strikers are out as is our 1st choice and arguably second choice CB and we have pretty much one midfielder we can rotate who is looking a little past it. No surprise we are struggling a bit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If I let there was some kind of marketplace where people could buy players if they were short in a position...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm you can only have so many players. Can't just have spare players all over the place in case you get awful injuries.
The issue is too many injury prone players but they are hard to shift so what are you supposed to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact that we have so many injury prone players invalidates the "just in case". We know many of our midfielders will miss significant parts of the season. And in midfield it's not even about backups we need improvements on what we currently have
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ye but we can't afford more players without losing some we have. If someone would buy ox and keita then problem solved
klopp should hook vvs and robbo just to make a point to them and the rest of the team.

If I wasn't doing the thread I think I'd just stick to watching baseball this evening.
Our much vaunted fullbacks have been tripe.
Diaz has been quiet and Salah keeps.losing the ball.
Gomez and Trent have been targeted again. Henderson plays the right side well and allows TAA to do what he's good at. I want Klopp to tweak it. Elliot is better on the right and I don't remember him operating on the other side, so I don't know if they can switch If Jones can play 45 mins I'd bring him on.
I think the Ox signing was the worst of klopps era.
Overpaid, and even before we bought him he was a parade of injury crises.

Yep if you look at our squad they do have the desire to win and shown it so many seasons in a row, but the malaise has set in now, and mega frustration too. Teams that are half decent have picked up on this and are playing accordingly…

We can afford a signing seeing as our net spend is essentially zero this summer. Unless you're telling me we need near 100% maximum prize money from the PL and CL while having a net spend of zero just to financially break even? Sounds like a horrific dealing of finances to me if even after all that prize money with you go broke if you have a slight net transfer spend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Got to free up wages too remember.
Problem is what Alisson said. Every teams ays the same way to get goals against us. We have to find a way to negate that.
