We could use a right sided attacker to give us more flexibility.
Salah through the centre would give us a other option here, I'd try hooking firmino for carvalho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed!!
We only have Salah in the position period
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought Elliot was going to play that side, klopp seems to prefer him deeper though , guess he doesn't have the pace for a klopp front line.

Our 2 first choice strikers are out as is our 1st choice and arguably second choice CB and we have pretty much one midfielder we can rotate who is looking a little past it. No surprise we are struggling a bit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If I let there was some kind of marketplace where people could buy players if they were short in a position...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm you can only have so many players. Can't just have spare players all over the place in case you get awful injuries.
The issue is too many injury prone players but they are hard to shift so what are you supposed to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact that we have so many injury prone players invalidates the "just in case". We know many of our midfielders will miss significant parts of the season. And in midfield it's not even about backups we need improvements on what we currently have
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ye but we can't afford more players without losing some we have. If someone would buy ox and keita then problem solved
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We can afford a signing seeing as our net spend is essentially zero this summer. Unless you're telling me we need near 100% maximum prize money from the PL and CL while having a net spend of zero just to financially break even? Sounds like a horrific dealing of finances to me if even after all that prize money with you go broke if you have a slight net transfer spend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are so many other considerations.
The accounts are publicly available btw, go look at them and tell us where they are hiding the hundreds of millions people are begging them to spend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Out if interest do you get satisfaction from having the same argument every day?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, do you guys get satisfaction from continually repeating erroneous positions?
Should they just be allowed to stand uncontested?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Insert you made all the same arguments just before we signed Diaz.
It just doesn't hold up.
Anyway, leave you to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only us and Bournemouth do football properly.
Must improve massively second half to get anything out this game.

Too many 1st teamers are just way below par this season.
Whether it's a mental thing due to hangover or knowing they'll play every game, or a physical thing of not having enough rest, I don't know. But I think I'd be tempted to rotate quite a few of them as soon as we're able.
Klopp needs to start being a bit more ruthless with certain players.
