can tell from first few mins of tuning in, not good enough. tempo is off, players half arrsed, sloppy. half asleep. let newcastle gain confidence grow into the game, whilst their time wasting made us even more carelessand thats why we concede first again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its no coincidence we concede first when we start like this so often.

I also think that the gulf in class that City and Liverpool have had for a while is starting to close.
Remember Newcastle beat them too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we're just falling into the pack, frankly I think City will be even better this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably some truth in that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just don't see how anybody competes with City this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They don't, for probably a few years now until Newcastle's ability to spend catches up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree entirely. Said on a WhatsApp group that the Saudis need to step it up to give the league some competition.

This time wasting is a joke already
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Started in the 2nd min with their keeper
I think City are living in our teams head, we got inched out latest season and that was our best effort since then they have improved and we have stood still…
Klopp has a huge task on his hands at the moment…

Time wasting twunts.
... but they've pretty much desrve their lead. Theyve pressed us very well and are well organised.
Wtf has happened to VVD?!

ofc, only team we've outworked this season were city n bournemouth. the rest deserved what they got vs us simply because they wanted it more.

Timewasting is absolutely horrendous. Held the ball for 15/20 seconds then. Football is becoming unwatchable.
We are so easy to play and score against.
First change I would make is change the left back
Something is definitely wrong at the moment.
We've had bad moments of form but the mentality seems utterly shot.

wish i was still tired as i was earlier id go to sleep, now im just piissed off.
Fack me Robbo what was that.
Our 2 first choice strikers are out as is our 1st choice and arguably second choice CB and we have pretty much one midfielder we can rotate who is looking a little past it. No surprise we are struggling a bit
get bjactic on for fab, carvalho on for hendo matip on for vvd tsimikas on for robbo and phillips on for bobby.

Jota/Nunez, Thiago and Konate/Matip start this game if fit..
At the end of the day FSG’s strategy has gone as far as it can. It’s done incredibly well to be fair but sheer weight of money has ground it down.
Mental fatigue is definitely a thing you know.
Klopp pushes these players to the limit and sooner or later it takes its toll, especially playing every game possible last season.
Although we have been very very unfortunate with the amount of injuries to the squad. Plus losing our main striker for 3 games.
tsimikas Deserves his change imo
