I would have exactly the same view if a white person on radio tweeted “why should white people mourn” of a black person in power passing. It’s bloody disrespectful and the undertones are racist. Not to mention coming from a guy who has previous for racist abuse. That’s the last I’m saying on this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact is, there is nothing comparable.
Some horrific things were done in her name which has never ever been done before or after, and for a large part of the world, it has left scars and had repercussions to this day...do you at least understand that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mate. I do understand that. She wasn’t responsible for this though was she? I still don’t justify racially dividing and the undertone racist nature of his tweet. The fact he has previous is why alarm bells are ringing. Why feel the need to post it hours after her death? It’s so disrespectful
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get that, and i 'personally' dont blame her for anything, it happened and we move forward.IMO it's disrespectful, distasteful and ill timed but i don't think it's racist really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I said racist undertones mate. There’s a hint of subtle racism in his Tweet 100%. The fact he has previous for this adds weight to it as well. Anyway, i have had my say. Will leave it at that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree.

It exists in your posts too and is subtle but a little less so.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not at all. I’m allowed to call out a person of colour who i feel displays a subtle level of racism in his tweet and has previous for this. Maybe you should speak to the people on here who are justifying Trevor Sinclair racially abusing a white policeman because he “had a bad day”. The levels of hypocrisy are incredible. Racism is racism across all boards. Trevor Sinclair tweet was highly offensive to many people, ill timed and displayed racist undertones. It’s just facts mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah you're allowed to call them out as many of us have done. The difference is you then go on to talk about how it's cos they got their job as a token and some long winded rant about how white people get different treatment etc. etc. etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably worded that one wrong. My main opinion is of him being talentless.

Some horrific things were done in her name which has never ever been done before or after
----------------------------------------------------------------------

oh really? what were these things?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Google it or open a book
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No come on. share some of your wealth of knowledge with us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope, i'm not playing this game.
Didn't claim to have a wealth of knowledge, and here is not a place to educate people who don't know the basics about the British Empire.
But i have a feeling you know exactly what happened and are fishing...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The only thing I think you could be referring to (although I guess more likely you are just totally clueless on British and world history), would be the fight against the mau mau in Kenya. But if you think there's nothing comparable before or since in human history then it just shows how brainwashed you are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, show how's clueless you are.
So the British empire only went to Kenya yeah?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Go and talk to a reasonably informed 10 year old and see how much you can learn from them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
showing your absolute ignorance. You crack on in your bubble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I'm happy to meet you half way. When I get the chance later I'll list out and explain a few "horrific" things that have been done "before or after" which weren't in E2's name, and you can list out the horrific things that WERE done in her name, and we can see which was worse
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So making a comparison list of who's done worse things is high level whatabouttery, which proves my point.
So your basically saying, 'worse things happened over there to them so how dare you be mad over here about what happened to you'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Am just going back to your comment that "Some horrific things were done in her name which has never ever been done before or after". I'm giving you the chance to demo strate your allocation, or to recognise that you were mistaken due to your lack of knowledge.

Also a lot of what was done in her name was burnt or secretly stored from 50's-70's all around the world, 1000's of documents. so your 'evidence' is going to so skewed it's pointless.

‘In her name’. Did she order these horrible things? I’m no royalist but seems you are massively overstating her powers. I’d be looking at the government for these things.

If I went out and murdered someone, in your name, would that be your fault?

Yeah but why should black and brown people mourn the passing of a person who was the figurehead of what may represent to them colonialism and institutional racism?

The Queen was obviously not the one giving out orders but is still the figurehead

Is it offensive though to say you're not interested in mourning the queen's death?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, and it's not racist either. But encouraging black and brown people not to mourn the Queen's death is racist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, just wow.

As for mourning her, up your own view, race irrelevant. Don’t think it needs really needs stated by thick gobshiiites on Twitter.

Ideally black and brown people would be mourning by focusing on the positives.

How about respect and appreciation for this country evolving into one of the most diverse and multicultural societies throughout the Queen's reign, more than likely because of the historical impact of the British Empire and not in spite of it.

It is a beautifully diverse country, specifically in the main cities, and I love London. The reason why it is so diverse though is founded upon the brutal colonialism of the British Empire let’s not sugarcoat it.

Hardly like she could change her role is it? Unless she abdicated. You seem to be blaming the actions of government on her, you are getting confused. Perhaps she could of spoke up, maybe she did, maybe she wasn’t aware of some of the stuff? Who knows.

You keep ridiculing , doesn't change the fact that it happened and anyone with half a brain can look it up.

Anyway AFC, we've just gone round down in a circle.

You couldn't explain all the horrific things that were done in QE2's name, because they burned all the books in which the things were recorded.

But now you've remembered Operation Legacy - the book they forgot to burn 🔥, you CAN explain the horrific things that WERE done in her name after all

I’m not blaming anything, in fact the first comment I made mentioned that she is just the figurehead. But you see, thing with figureheads is that they “represent” the institution/country/regime etc. So my point is that black/brown people may not want to mourn for that reason, not because she was out there colonising herself.
