This odious mug should be sacked from all his media jobs, if he is allowed to carry on or resurfaces somewhere else there is something very wrong.
This is the problem when you give people jobs in the media purely for tokenistic reasons and as a box ticking exercise, rather than their ability to do a job, you end up with mugs like Sinclair.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This Billy. The tick box ✅ exercise in full swing with this bell piece and he preaches hatred like that. We talk about division and trying to unite all races, colours etc and this mug is rounding up every person of colour to cause friction. Absolutely disgusting and if it was the other way round, people would be outraged and rightly so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“…rounding up every person of colour to cause friction…”
A bit of a stretch that, no? He’s asked a question. There’s no call to action in his Tweet.
Even if every black and brown person chose not to mourn (or felt like they couldn’t mourn), how would that “cause friction”?
Many people of all colours across the nations I am sure will pay their respects in a dignified manner whilst having more serious and pressing concerns than entering into mourning for a lost monarch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why is that a stretch? What because he’s black, that gives him the right to Tweet racial undertone messages? Let’s reverse it and a black powerful figure died and say Simon Jordan for argument’s sake tweeted why should white people mourn the death of that individual. I’m sure you would have a completely different view then? The hypocrisy is incredible. It’s a racist undertone message by a convicted racist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“…a black powerful figure died…”
I mean, to start with, how many of those are there about? At present, there isn’t one single individual anywhere in the world remotely as powerful or influential as the Queen ever was (which is kind of part of the point).
Regardless, you draw a completely false equivalence. Sinclair is a member of a minority group which has been persecuted (at times unimaginably) by the European white majority for centuries up until the present day.
Obviously much progress has been made, but racism is still rife in the UK, and black people with any significant public profile experience that racism Every. Single. Day. of their lives. That isn’t something you can say about many, if any, white people in the public eye.
Did you read about Sinclair’s experience during the day leading up to his drink driving arrest? Without excusing his actions (he was quite correctly arrested, charged and convicted), he was triggered earlier in the day by just another racist comment, directed, publicly, right at him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cool, so as a person that is half Jewish, i have the right to fly to Germany and abuse every german calling them Na*** german bast^* yeh? We are going by your logic here mate. Trevor Sinclair is from a minority that has persecuted, so that gives him the right to post racist undertone messages? What a load of bulls**. 6 million jews were slaughtered by the German Na**. That doesn’t mean i have a right to openly abuse every german. His Tweet was offensive and it come from a guy that has previous for racially abusing a white person.
What he said was wrong but he shouldn't be sacked for it. The tweet itself isn't racist. It's incredibly stupid and disrespectful and he has since deleted it so I gather he himself realises it wasn't the right thing to say. You would hope he comes out with an apology.

You are basically saying he has the right to call out white people and divide because his race was persecuted, so I’m putting to you that as a Jew, by your logic, I’m allowed to call out every German then? I’m allowed to divide german people from the rest because of their actions 50 years ago. I certainly wouldn’t do that and i am intelligent enough to understand that not every German is a na**. Cancel culture strikes again! Woke monarchists can’t handle a bit of free speech
The bottom line is, Sinclair should be nowhere near any media outlets, regardless of his racist tendencies.
He is as clueless as they come and been put their purely to tick a box, and for tokenistic reasons to satisfy this country`s intense thirst for diversity.

No; that isn’t what I’m saying. You need to re-read my comment.
1. Yes, his race was (and is still widely) persecuted.
2. His race still sees widespread discrimination in the UK.
3. Sinclair is subject to that discrimination, and also experiences it, directly, on a daily basis. This absolutely gives him a right to question the commitment of people in positions of influence and authority to combat the issue of racism. (Before flying off the handle, please read my first contribution to the thread where I judged his Tweet to be stupid, insensitive and nonsensical.)
4. Where is Sinclair ‘calling out’ every Briton (I’m assuming you would mean ‘white Briton’ using your analogy)? He hasn’t mentioned white people *at all*.
5. How is he ‘dividing’ white Britons from everyone else? Again, he hasn’t even mentioned white people once.
6. How has he remotely suggested that all white Britons are racist? There’s absolutely no way with a clear mind that you can infer that from his Tweet.
You need to calm down a bit and digest what he’s actually written mate.

Every day of his life- that probably isn’t the case. Atleast not in real life, if on Twitter etc then maybe he should think about taking a break from that cesspit (and Twitter really need to sort their house out). Racism is a terrible and totally illogical thing that shouldn’t exist. I’m not definitively saying it wasn’t what sent him off, as abuse like that can drive people to dark places, but there is a possibility that he saw it as an excuse for his behaviour, is all I’m saying. 2 sides to a coin…

Talksport about to address Sinclair tweet right now…
I'm not sure what Trevor expects of the Queen or what his solution is to prevent racism "thriving" but it will never be truly fixed. It's just one of those things that will always exist in the same way violence will. All you can do is try and reduce it, and to be fair I'm pretty sure it has been since the 60's?

I’m sure you would have a completely different view then? The hypocrisy is incredible. It’s a racist undertone message by a convicted racist.

Getting out of bed on a morning knowing - as a member of a minority group, surrounded by members of a more powerful and privileged class which has oppressed your people and family for countless generations - that you’re going to be abused today based on nothing more than the colour of your skin.

I’m allowed to divide german people from the rest because of their actions 50 years ago. I certainly wouldn’t do that and i am intelligent enough to understand that not every German is a na**.
