This odious mug should be sacked from all his media jobs, if he is allowed to carry on or resurfaces somewhere else there is something very wrong.
This is the problem when you give people jobs in the media purely for tokenistic reasons and as a box ticking exercise, rather than their ability to do a job, you end up with mugs like Sinclair.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This Billy. The tick box ✅ exercise in full swing with this bell piece and he preaches hatred like that. We talk about division and trying to unite all races, colours etc and this mug is rounding up every person of colour to cause friction. Absolutely disgusting and if it was the other way round, people would be outraged and rightly so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“…rounding up every person of colour to cause friction…”
A bit of a stretch that, no? He’s asked a question. There’s no call to action in his Tweet.
Even if every black and brown person chose not to mourn (or felt like they couldn’t mourn), how would that “cause friction”?
Many people of all colours across the nations I am sure will pay their respects in a dignified manner whilst having more serious and pressing concerns than entering into mourning for a lost monarch.
Sinclair is correct about racism still being rife, but to direct this against a monarch who has to the best of my knowledge never shown any hint of racism in her long reign was crass to say the least. He is a disgrace.
Your just a snowflake offended by someone having a different opinion worlds gone soft the queen had real men like churchill back in the day and snowflake's like you are trying too cancel people because your offended by a tweet worlds gone mad I want you get of

“…a black powerful figure died…”
I mean, to start with, how many of those are there about? At present, there isn’t one single individual anywhere in the world remotely as powerful or influential as the Queen ever was (which is kind of part of the point).
Regardless, you draw a completely false equivalence. Sinclair is a member of a minority group which has been persecuted (at times unimaginably) by the European white majority for centuries up until the present day.
Obviously much progress has been made, but racism is still rife in the UK, and black people with any significant public profile experience that racism Every. Single. Day. of their lives. That isn’t something you can say about many, if any, white people in the public eye.
Did you read about Sinclair’s experience during the day leading up to his drink driving arrest? Without excusing his actions (he was quite correctly arrested, charged and convicted), he was triggered earlier in the day by just another racist comment, directed, publicly, right at him.

Mate, he is openly saying why should black or brown people mourn her death. Jumping on the race divide and conquer bandwagon immediately after her death. How is that acceptable for a person who is the voice of TalkSPORT? He has previous for racial abuse to a police officer, so why is this any different. Nobody is saying everyone should cry and mourn the queen and trust me I’m no Royalist, but it’s about respect. We are trying to banish racism and unite all races, yet this pr** is dividing people with his tweet. Sorry dude, he’s wrong and talkSPORT should do the right thing. You said it yourself, if it were a white person tweeting this, the reaction would be severe. Double standards.
Without excusing his actions (he was quite correctly arrested, charged and convicted), he was triggered earlier in the day by just another racist comment, directed, publicly, right at him.
—
Playing devils advocate: whilst understandably something like that could certainly trigger a response that led to his actions that day, you could also perhaps argue it may also provide a continent excuse…
Racism is a harrowing thing that affects millions around the world and is a stain on society, but when idiots like Trevor Sinclair post tweets like this it undermines actual race issues, and causes people who aren’t of minority’s to take the issue less seriously.
He’s doing far more damage than good with this.

It's a really daft comment but the bloke shouldn't be sacked for it, come on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why not? If a white guy posted that on Twitter saying for all whites not to mourn a black figure, he would rightfully condemned and sacked. Why is it ok when the shoes on the other foot? He’s a convicted racist with previous. That Tweet had racial undertones 100%. Should be fired immediately and hopefully he has already
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His tweet is a question and suggests the Queen allowed racism to flourish. Completely ignorant and ill informed, but he was asking a question. He's not abused anybody or broken any laws.
And no I wouldn't want a white person sacked if it were the other way around, although no doubt the outrage would be 10x stronger.
