I noticed the other day not heard from Ang on the matter, hope he's well.

It is good to read that other players speak well for him and regarding his playing style, I guess that's more a stereotypical impression given small club, small resources will play more direct football.

As per usual Vidal has hit the nail on the head with what he expressed earlier and my own thoughts. A sense of 'here we go again' and the upheaval of switching between (possible, not confirmed) players and the playing styles between managers.

I would like somebody from the board to come out and say this is our vision for the club, to play in x style, we'll be looking to find players from x ( moneyball style, lower leagues, discarded players from the PL - something that in recent years we've had success with) to blood in to the squad.Just to understand what the vision is of the ownership given the previous one was seriously blinkered.

Thanks for noticing, Desi, Im fine thanks
I had decided not to comment on the decision to replace Liam until I had fully processed it and some of the annoyance and disappointment had diminished. Might be a while yet, but many of my thoughts have been more than adequately expressed by yourself, Vidal and believe it or not, Spart.
Thanks to Scouse, I have a ticket to see the debut performance of our newly-led team next Saturday and I hope I can resurrect my dented feelings of unity by then.
But hey, what do I know, I was a fan of Cocu ?

"Unique and wonderful" says Shaun of Paul Warne. So that sounds all right.

Are wives and labradors all that unique though? I accept they are different from each other in some respects, but within the groups of wives and labradors there's a certain sameiness.

I was hoping Shaun Barker would comment on the new manager - so good to have such positive statements.

Re wives and labradors, just how many wives do you have Vidal?

Thank goodness there was no truth in the rumour that Darren Ferguson was a strong contender for the manager's job!

The Telegraph is suggesting Flippertruss is going away from her original support for an Independent Regulator. Surely not!?

Give the woman a chance FFS.

The last thing football needs is for this or any government to interfere, let them sort out the NHS first. Football and politics don't mix.

They already have VC, the Pound tanking has made it MUCH cheaper for their mates in the US to buy up any profitable bits.

Haven't some of their Tory colleagues betted on the £ tanking and thus made a lot of £s?

Yes

Not just the tories.
Over 650 mixed up in there, and not a good one amongst them,
I am 87 in Nov and for the life of me I can't remember the tories ever doing anything for the working man, and it seems they are working hard to destroy the NHS.
The problem is, woke labour is even worse.
And of course, you have over 750 spongers in the other place drawing about £350 just by signing a register.
Still, I suppose it gives them somewhere warm to sleep.

Blimey Tom - thought you had more sense then to read all the Daily Mail lies and gaslighting.

Please explain 'woke'?
Please explain 'woke Labour'?

Honestly I don't know.

This is a cut and paste from Hansard in April 2018, the words are from the mouth of The Chief Secretary to the Treasury (one Ms Liz Truss):

'Labour Members seem to believe that by spending more money and borrowing more, we can reduce debt. That simply does not add up. Under Labour’s plans, we would be vulnerable to an external crisis, ......'

You see, its only a crisis if it's Labours idea. Hope that helps?

UT, how on earth can you say that Labour would 'be even worse'? Asking for a friend.

The Tory party have somehow made corruption acceptable in the last three years.

It would appear that you are making assumptions that because of my age I am a bit gaga and don't know what i'm talking about.
If you did not know, you would have used Google, as I would if I did'nt.

Are you saying that there is no corruption in the labour party then Scouse?
because they are very much of a muchness, and I don't think either of them, or indeed the libdems deserve anyones vote, certainly not mine.
