Loads of players massively improve at 23. In fact that's when most do. Quite easily the daftest comment I have seen on 606 for fair while.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s rare they massively improve technically, though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True enough. He seems to either do something very good or something very bad. If he can keep the good and even out the bad we'll have a player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’ll be interesting to see what work Liverpool try to do with him. Could be hard to iron out some of the weaknesses technically, but working on his strengths could see him become a top striker for you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that's my thoughts on it too Dazza and pretty much every player I have seen under Klopp has improved under him and the coaches. He's actually pretty versatile too but I see him as a proper 9. He is always involved in stuff which I think bodes well, stuff happens around him and he is a right handful.
Fancy him to score against Brighton and for us to record a good win. I normally loath this international break but it may have come at a good time for us. I think we then have 9 games in October or something daft so he'll be getting plenty of minutes I'd have thought.
People talk about Suarez but he’s got more of a Cavani look about him. The latter was also incredibly frustrating with missing sitters but always got chances due to his movement.
Agree with that too, he's absolutely nothing like Suarez.
He is surprisingly rapid over the first 10-20 yards which I like and has a more than decent spring.
New country and language, and klopp always usually makes most players wait some time before they get regular games. Plenty of quality strikers take time to adjust, and if u look at the teams he scored against in last seasons CL, I don't think too many Liverpool fans will be worried at this stage.
Some bizarre comments on this thread.
The kid has played 291 minutes for Liverpool, having moved from another country for a big fee, playing in the PL for the first time.
Far, far too early to judge.
And I think based on his record, I’m inclined to think Klopp is more likely to get it right than wrong with new players and still think he’ll be a top player for Liverpool.

Just think Nunez could end up costing more than what Salah, Mane and firminio/jota cost combined!!!
mental
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aside from your maths being wrong, if he does end up costing the full £85m then he'll have hit all his add-ons which means he's a success.
So weird comment.

ok so he could end up costing pretty much the equivalent of the three transfers combined.
And nothing Nunez does in his Liverpool career will result in him being considered the same value as those three players combined.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Salah - 35m
Mane - 35m
Jota - 40m
Bobby - 28m
(approx)
That is way more than £85 we might pay for Nunez if we win another league and CL
He'll end up soring about 100 goals for Liverpool I reckon.
