Won’t happen.

It’s fraud. I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again: Man City have murdered football.

This certainly needs to be looked into further. But the PL seem more interested in building the brand than fair play, so it won't happen.

If the sleuths of Ja606 can find this with a simple internet search, wouldnt you think all governing bodies can find this just as easily and that if it was a sham, Man City would put in more effort to cover it up / mask it?

I like to hear Melton's response to this first before making a judgement

You would think the club would do its due diligence following the issues the club has had to deal with UEFA, PL, The premier league clubs who ganged up against them, Miguel Delaney, Javier Tebas, Barcelona.

Anyway United legend Sheringham is an ambassador

Stinky will be here in few minutes....

He will tell us Man City are not breaking any rules and all the money the sheik is made from knitting caps and dresses and selling them in Abu Dhabi flea market.

Besides if you simply look at the revenue the club makes especially in the Pep years, prize money accrued, sound recruitment and player sales in the last 2 years does the club need to finacially dope?????

If you ask yourself that question you will realise this is fake news. Many such stories including the crypto company briefly talked about last season before the liverpool ties.

You can frame it what you want (sports washing, integration) etc but the way City is run and any look into their books will prove fruitless as a business.

If any club is in trouble its Chelsea because the successful model they had of nurturing young players and loaning them out to foreign clubs is falling apart and that was their money maker. Whereas the City group has further partnered with many clubs around the world and its business model is spotless.

Arsenal is another club potentially in trouble if they dont make CL given what they have spent in the last 4-5 years outside europe.

Maybe call it money laundering or sports washing but City are far from a club that is financially doped. They simply dont need to be. That horse bolted a long time.

City fans will no doubt tell you this is all perfectly normal, greasy fkers

"player sales"...

Agreed. In the last ten years players sale between Chelsea (another model club) and Man City is over £300mil.

So you just financially doped for best part of a decade to get yourself into this position? That's essentially what you're saying then.

What an achievement.

I thought that was widely accepted already.

highest revenue club in the world right, all because of that massive fan base that gives you access to some very lucrative deals with companies that just happen to be in the owners country

I went to the UAE this year on Holiday. Dubai not Abu Dhabi, granted, but still only 90 mins away. Didn't see a single person wearing a City shirt. Not one. Saw loads of locals in Liverpool, United and Madrid shirts though.

People in the UAE clearly haven't jumped on the bandwagon. They don't care about tinpot clubs.

If every English club stopped ridiculously over paying for mediocre players then this would be less of an issue.

We were sponsored by OPE Sports (no, me neither) whilst in the Prem. You won't find a website or head office for them either. These far east betting companies work in mysterious ways but their money obviously keeps being approved by the Premier League otherwise we would have been under scrutiny also

So the few millions from this company was what enabled KDB, Foden and Haaland to kill off United on Sunday?

Got it.

City aren't buying or paying players more than what other teams do. They aren't dominating European football either.

The finances are quite irrelevant. It's not a business model thats working to the extent it potentially could

Their finances are very relevant. They aren't truthful. They have clearly enhanced several deals over the years. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

When Uefa asked to see their books they came out with a strong statement refuting any wrong doing and then proceeded to not hand over any paper work for about 18 months why they appealed and appealed.
This is not the behaviour of a club that hasn't done anything wrong. If they hadn't they'd have handed it over immediately to embarrass Uefa and clear their name.

Their claimed economic growth is simply not possible. This is why they keep a lot of their deals inside the UAE.

See anything comes of further investigation. But tbh, as I say over again on here, with the tv deal I’m not sure why the club would need to falsify this sponsor. 10 years ago maybe it would be more believable. But now, the top clubs in the country make about 150m each season in tv money alone, along with a savvy transfer strategy, City are no longer in a position to need a dodgey sponsor.

'No longer'.

Hang on you claimed for years it wasn't dodgy. Now you're a lot closer to being more self sufficient and the mask slips
