But what are they voting for? Unless they are super rich there is literally nothing the tories will do for them.

Oh I don't know, I think it's gone too far at this point. Pretty much every single 'Tory' I know wants them out and a period in the wilderness to reset.

The country is facked but the party is also facked, and many people see that.

I'm not really sure Labour actually want to take the country on at this point...

Some people are just raised to vote Tory’s no matter what unfortunately. No matter how bad a job they are doing. Same mentality with the Republicans in the US. I know a few people who every day laugh at how awful a job the likes of May, BoJo and now Truss are doing but still swear to the heavens they would never vote for socialists

It doesn’t matter who they have in charge, they will get slaughtered next election.

The worst thing about yesterday was reducing the energy term U turn to six months. I’m

A lot of people gonna be well and truly facked if that isn’t continued next April.

I think in politics now it’s almost become like supporting a football team (maybe it always was) where no matter how badly they’re doing you’ll never ever join the other side. ABL for many Tory supporters out there.

They're just that fecking stupid/mental. There has hardly ever been anything positive for them before in voting Tory above any other party, they just believe utter nonsense spouted by the Tories and their associated outlets

Wholesale energy costs have dropped dramatically over the last 2 months. They are still very high but perhaps they are banking on the cost of energy to continue dropping

All it will take is a catchy but ultimately meaningless slogan and for some Labour politician to criticise Israel and then they’ll be branded antisemetic and the turkeys will stampede to vote for Xmas on masse.

I have nothing but disdain for these utter facking morons.

There is no argument for voting Tory now. If you still want to vote for them, you are an utter simpleton.

Energy companies typically by their energy 6 months to a year in advance so April still gonna be a killer for a lot of folks if their is no support.

There hasn't been for a long time. Yes it's slightly more obvious right this second but only if you haven't been paying attention to every awful fecking decision they've made since being voted in.

The UK's entire public sector didn't suddenly become completely fecked overnight

My mortgage needs renewing next October.

Not only have these Khants cut my wages by £12000 in 12 years, because of them I’m looking at extra £400 per month on my mortgage and an extra £300 per month on my energy bills after April

Liz truss didn’t even have the guts to face parliament yesterday

Agree Pranks and like I said prices are still extremely high. However the outlook 2 months ago was infinitely worse than where we are right now so they are probably just crossing their fingers and hoping for the best. It does seem like that’s all the Tories can do atm

Depressing language used here imo. Not constructive labelling people monsters and idiots.

And yes I will vote Labour next general election, unfortunate that I feel that has to be stipulated.

Sensible debate has been tried and failed

If anyone is still voting Tory they are either part of a very select group of wealthy selfish cants with a dodgy interest or a moron.

No point debating in this case. If someone still plans to vote Tory even now there's no reasoning left.

Tories bleating about how we need stability, and cannot have a General Election.

Course we cannot, otherwise they would get absolutely trounced.

Time people took to the streets, to demand a General Election. This simply cannot be allowed to carry on. Just pandering to what the Tory Party wants.

When will this shambles of a living crisis be over? Surely things will come down eventually? What with getting over a worldwide pandemic and now this. Utterly depressing.

They don`t have to vote socialist, but at least they could give the rest of us a chance not to vote Conservative. It is shameful the way they are behaving now.
