Let's start by enquiry about any injury updates. How far away are Neto and Chiquinho. Sasa's out for the season I guess.
Don’t think we’ll see Chiquinho this season but there seems to be a view that Neto won’t be far away after the World Cup
U21s play Sunderland at Telford this afternoon at 2. The game will be shown on Wolves tv. With no first team games for a while maybe there will be some familiar names in the line up and maybe Julen will take a look at his young stars
Good interview between Lopetegui and Guillem Balague at Molineux. Worth a listen if you have 17 minutes

Glad I listened to that, I have a lot more faith In Julen now than I had before.
Excellent article Wulfrunnut, 5* from me.
Raul left the Mexico squad to go to London to have an injection in his injured groin. He has now rejoined the squad and will find out in the next 24 hours if he is in their final World Cup squad
You can bet that he is <angry>
U21s beat Sunderland 1-0 this afternoon at Telford to make it 2 wins from 2 in the Premier League Cup this season
Next game for them is an attractive one against Porto at Molineux in the International Cup on Saturday. That will be worth a watch on Wolves TV. Maybe some future Wolves stars on show from both clubs. Just parts of the Billy Wright and North Bank stands have been made available for advance tickets but more blocks may need to be opened as those are virtually sold out
Raul Jimenez has been included in Mexico’s World Cup squad
Hope that works out for him, but more than anything for the club. Some game time will definitely be beneficial for all concerned. Were he atWolves I would be confident that his return would be managed carefully. With Mexico I have no idea.
Fingers crossed. He may or may not return to peak Jimenez, but If he played regularly for us until the summer I would expect him to net at least half a dozen goals and may yet finish our top scorer.
there were certainly moments in the Arsenal game when I was thinking if only Jimenez was in the box
Mexico may think he is such a senior player and no doubt highly valued and liked it is worth taking him even if he is unlikely to play
Would love Raul to play in the World Cup and look something like the player of old. Can’t see it personally but would love him to prove me wrong

Listened to it too and impressed but, to be honest, I would expect most incoming managers to have similar aspirations. I hope he will be successful and am optimistic, but there it depends to a large degree how successful he is in bringing in the right players, which to a large extent depends on others.
Given the right players (and I'm not talking about £200m+ being spent) then I believe we have a really good chance of improvement. Let's face it improvement from the current position is a minimum requirement.
As a top manager I think he will get some improvement even without any signings. But we do need additions, particularly strikers, to make real progress
Mexico play their final World Cup warm up game on Wednesday when they play Sweden in Girona, Spain. And speculation is that Jimenez will play a part in that game
Been lots of rumours that Neves will be moving on to Barcelona in January but that won’t be happening. The club have announced that because of ffp they can’t make any signings in January
Bruno Lage evidently in talks to become the new manager of Corinthians in Brazil.
Hoever continues to be a disappointment on his loan to PSV in Holland. They describe his loan signing as a miscalculation
Wolves first league game after the World Cup at Everton on Boxing Day is to be shown on Amazon. And the New Year’s Eve home game against Man Utd is to be shown by BT. The games to be televised in January have now been announced and Wolves are not on the list
Raul came on at half time for Mexico against Sweden

They've had similar restrictions in previous windows and still managed to bring players in. They operate under different rules to clubs like ours.
Probably means we'll send Neves on loan to them with Jeff and Sellars telling us what a good deal it is for us.
J Lo has already stated that Neves is going nowhere in January.

I knew he was leaving but I assumed it would be “by mutual consent”.
