Strange but I can't stand fresh salmon but show me a tin of cucumber brand red salmon and it's gone.

Had a dinner out with fellow walkers (correct spelling) in Buxton today. Then it took 3 1/2 hours to get back on the train of which only 1 1/4 was actually spent on a moving train. The rest was waiting for delayed and cancelled trains.

Spart I do miss Buxton. Not been there since the early '80's but they had just refurbished the Opera House, the festival was underway and it was a great place to be.........

Actually, strictly speaking that relates to rod-caught salmon and may not be the case in England where legal netting stations still exist I believe. Anyway caveat emptor........

I thought Paul Williams was an excellent player. He started out as a central midfielder and used to get a decent number of goals. When he went back into the centre of defence he was a really solid defender and good on the ball, maybe not all that dissimilar to Cashin now. But he will always be remembered for somehow ducking under the ball to allow Leicester's equaliser in the 1994 play-off fina;. I was right in line with it and it seemed impossible that he should fail to clear it. That mistake gave Leicester a lifeline when we were so much on top the game was all but won.
