I love England, I would fight to defend England.....British people are for the most part wonderful. I owe the NHS a debt.....

But being g financially sound as these players are....Imy first choice would be to represent the country of my heritage (even though I'm not to keen on the place)

This is not about racism, i don't even have a huge problem with the situation. I'm just pointing out that those are not French people and in person most people agree.....online they don't. Its interesting.....

I can tell you're the type that thinks Africa is a country. Africa is a continent, like Europe or Asia etc. Are the French the same as the Russians? Or the English, or German...? Africa is the same. Just because they're all black doesn't mean they're the same peoples.

So why is one French and the other African? Shouldn't one be European and the other African? Or French and the other from Mali?

If you're gonna be like this at least try to get the basic facts right.

It isn't any surprise that many players who have dual options choose the stronger nation regardless of what their family/heart dictates.

Benzema quite openly said he only chose France for football reasons and he isn't the only one. No biggy, the rules are the rules, it is up to them if they wanna turn their back on their family roots or not.

People ask me why I haven't gotten US citizenship and my answer is simple, I am British and wouldn't want to claim any other nationality.

A lot of Benzema's family and roots are also in France. Also, it's just football. Don't be melodramatic. Playing for France is not turning your back on your family roots.

It's easy for someone like you to say how you would never do what Benzema did but at the end of the day you're a nobody, like everyone else on here. Benzema is Benzema. Easy to talk when it's not you, but I don't think you'd make a different decision than Benzema if you were rich, famous and brilliant at football.

His family probably want him to play for France as they want to see him win world cups and be remembered after he's gone.

You do you, Benzema will do Benzema.

So as a Muslim.....we know Moses and other very very beloved people narrated to have been black. I lilove black and african people and have never once uttered a racist word or allowed anyone to do so in my presence as an adult.


Also my daughter is half White.....I love that fact, the absolute favourites of our family are white people.

I'm as anti racist as they get, I'm known for it. But that doesn't mean Ngolo Kante is a French name....

Also....I'm not really saying these people should play for France, I'm just pointing out a fact that these people aren't really French man.

In my opinion Thiago Alcantara should play for Brazil.

If the England national team read:

I'd say....they're East Asian people. Its odd to me.....that's all

I get the point you were making even if others want to be obtuse.

These guys can play for who they want at the end of the day but I imagine there have been many disappointed parents sometimes given most of these players will have been brought up in their families cultures.

Like I said before, Bnezema only chose France for football reasons and no doubt many others did as well.
