See with the Kyogo pen claim if a defender went through a striker to get a header it would have been a foul perhaps, keepers do get a degree of leeway with challenges like that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never a pen

Some people can't understand it but it's good he got that call right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably right there and I didn't think it was at the time but I imagined a defender doing that and it blurred it a wee bit for me, keepers do have to make contact when punching it just thought on the replay there that it was pretty solid?

Mind I'd have moaned if it was given against us so I should shut up

Delighted with the way the squad is shaping up TBH. Hopefully we can improve things further by getting some deadwood out the door before the window shuts … Abildgaard, Ideguchi and McCarthy being the most obvious candidates, although McCarthy would be the least likely to depart. No one in their right mind is taking over his retirement fund. I’m guessing no more INs this window?

‘It's trolling when you jump on any comment I make that you happen to disagree with with some sort of abuse be it an abusive comment or a p!stake emoji No need mate we both support the same team’

It’s not trolling.

It’s not every comment.

It’s not abusive.

The team you support is irrelevant when you make a fairly silly point.

Apart from that though, your comment looks fine.

You could argue he did more in 10 minutes than Kyogo did in 80

Kyogo was pretty anonymous today to be honest.

Hatate wasn’t his usual self but like Jota stepped up second half. Taylor was poor for quite long spells of the game but just back from injury I’ll give him that.

First half was as poor as we’ve been for some time and being honest, whilst Dundee United never threatened, better teams would have. It took the penalty for them (and a significant portion of their support behind the goal) to pack it in.

Don Robertson is a complete vvank. Always is. He was beelin' he had to give that pen. Got his own back not giving the red.

Awarding a foul to the United keeper? Cos Kyogo got pushed into him? Which happened before any keeper collision btw. Keeper following through with dangerous play impact to the head...no?

Foul given for standing on the ball The snidey fall over from Midleton. Numerous others. Players told not to waste time, energy and game flow to argue with the ref so they take more liberties.

He was as rank as Taylor and that is saying something. Turnbull not far behind.

Jota, CCV, Calmac, Hatate, Mooy all immense today.

If you think the "push" from Smith into Kyogo justifies a penalty then I'd worry you're a bit blinkered.

From what I saw from the clips I've seen, VAR was used appropriately and as intended, as opposed to the game on Saturday.

Agreed

what was that man thinking for other penalty ? what a brainfart that is

I think it would have been a ‘letter of the law’ penalty if it was given. The issue I’ve got is how that is used, when and how often.

The Utd player should have got a second yellow-it was deliberate handball. Robertson also missed a bad challenge on Abada (was defo a yellow-we didn’t even get a foul), and he gave a foul for Utd when one of their players stood on the ball and fell over.

The use of VAR on Saturday?!

Rangers pen: by the law prob is , not the sorta thing I want handballs given out for.
Re Card: wasnt a red IMO.
Jack tackle: Not a red, however he was lucky, I was half excpecting him to get a red, as others said, if he done that tackle 10 mins before that prior to the Clark tackle, no one is screaming for a red IMO.

How the dundee utd boy never got a second yellow for that handball I will never know.

I've not seen all the highlights but speaking to people at the game he should have been off.

Don't think the push was anything worth looking at. Happens all the time - a wee nudge to put someone off balance.
