Wolfie claiming he was right about something coming in

3…2…1….
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I imagine his post will be all about how we can't blame the referees and that he's the only one that thinks our defensive errors and inability to take chances are a major part of our problem.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if he throws in a “squad too big, too many signings in a short period, better suited to a back three”

Traore is built like a schitbrickhouse…his shirt was being held by a prancyboy’s fingernails….if Traore had played for Leeds we’d have given him big time grief for not getting on with it. He’s had a shocker there

Very exciting game for the neutral, but all this talk of a conspiracy is total bollox. The problem we have, is the lack of scoring from an International CF, who touched the ball more in added time than he did all game.

Blaming VAR and poor referring is not going to get us up the table. Our problem is clear for all to see. Our two goals were a fluke from Jonny and a huge deflection for the second.

We can cry foul every game, but other sides seem to get over bad decisions and manage to win. Traore's shirt tug was minimal and for a player of stature to just stand there, was unprofessional, to say the least. Even kids are taught to play to the whistle. So Tammy boy and our resident WUM can complain all they want and criticize my views as much as they like. However, they and others need to wake up to reality.

Unless and until we drop the donkey we have playing up front, we can start to panic about relegation. Because that's what will happen unless our coach either changes the style of play, or picks players capable of scoring goals.

My article about relegation, doesn't appear to be far from reality at this point in time.

Neves was our most effective player, as usual, but there were too many players who went missing today. Two in particular, who managed to stay on for the whole game, Jimenez and Gomes.

Are you referring to the article where you said we’d be OK.

I'm done with the Premier League now. The refereeing is an absolute joke.

Great.

Does that mean I won't have to read all your whinging?

Absolute farce of a game, defending attacking, refereeing all abysmal.

I think we are a better team now than a few months ago and the goals will come if we have a settled front line.

If Raul plays the rest of the season i think he is good for five.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really!!! If he scores 1 it'll be a miracle. He needs to be benched and moved on next season, along with many more.

The amount of money we've spent on players should have seen us well clear of relegation by now, but for some reason, we're not consistent enough.

“I have to say that our style of play is encouraging

I think we'll be ok”

Really. Pray tell what planet are you on witless?

Raul was ineffective today. Good last week.

Well at least Wolfie was right for us to turn to Jonny

I think we should all take time to revisit our pre season predictions and see how far off the mark some of us are

Traore was wrong to stop, but it's still a foul. Unless the laws have been changed and shirt pulling is allowed now?

posted on 18/3/23

It was definitely a penalty too. The Leeds player kicks his ankle. At that point it's potentially 1-1 and a completely different game.

The goals we conceded were awful. Semedo was beaten for the first, but Jonny should have been closer to Harrison and not allowed him to easily stroke it home. How we let the ball bounce in the six yard box from a corner was shocking for the second. Jonny was terrible again for the third. We basically gifted them three goals.

That doesn't mean the officials weren't terrible and negatively impact the game for us though.

posted on 18/3/23

Yeah the goals truly were awful today and when you don't score many you can't be gifting them like that.

The reffing is clearly a farce, that doesn't even need saying anymore and anyone saying otherwise is a complete moron.

I just can't get my head around how the ref looked at the screen, saw the Leeds player with a handful of Traore's shirt with it stretched and thought, 'yeah that's not a foul.'

You can only laugh at this point.

Not sure I ever said I preferred Jonny. I do prefer Bueno to your hero RAN and for WEO (aka Deja Vu/Pundit or whoever this cretin is. I said "think we'll be ok".

It's also about time posters on here started looking at the problems we have with the management and players rather than the officials.

Nobody is excusing cheap goals or our weakness in front of goal.

That said, some decision by refs the last few weeks have completely changed games. That is a penalty today, zero doubt, changes the whole game as well.

posted on 18/3/23

So we're just gonna brush over blatant injustices flippy?

We have our issues obviously but they are compounded by costly and unforgivable refereeing errors

posted on 18/3/23

The main reason we lost today though is because Wolfie's hero Jonny was hopeless though and our hopeless defensive work.

posted on 18/3/23

Really don't like how much Julen tinkers though, needless and sometimes baffling. We need to find some chemistry and that isn't going to happen with all the tinkering.

You deserved nothing.
You got nothing.
“Your” penalty wasn’t.
Dawsons yellow was a straight red.
Traore is a wuss
