Yep you’re right….. ref of the match I referred to went to prison for taking bribes.
Think you’re a bit off that kinda level with your own unrealistic expectations of how much a ref should help you.

Not got much to say about the match…. Been there…said it all before. Just need to give García time. Not much choice 🤷‍♂️

But my main gripe under the heading ‘thoughts about yesterday’ is Arsenal v Bournemouth…yeah good come back, and I get the emotion at the end (cos that’s what football is all about)….. but 10 Arsenal subs/backroom staff all ran onto the pitch … not one booked !

Leeds… score v Southampton…1 player Gnonto cuts corner of pitch…and gets booked.

You can understand sometimes why fans feel their team get unfair treatment. The inconsistency of application of the rules is what kills you . 🤬

And this is nothing like it.

Never understood why a lot of fans don't care about right or wrong so long as they win?? Personally have never had any issue acknowledging if a rival team has been stitched up. If the boot was on the other foot yesterday I would have had sympathy with Leeds for complaining. Add it to previous weeks and I would think Leeds were being singled out.

All these Leeds fans have done a lot of moaning for a team that just get on with it.

And to be clear, I am not saying we were robbed of a result yesterday.

No idea what you are talking about Salonika? I watched the game yesterday and the commentators spent about 3-4 minutes on the non penalty saying how ridiculous a decision it was and bizarre how he didn't even get asked to look and then another 3-4 mins the comms spent talking about the nonsensical final goal which was as clear a foul as you can possibly have but more bizarrely the fact a ref could look at the monitor because the shirt grab is so obvious but still ignore it ffs.

So you think a fingernail shirt pull is a hanging matter, and yet you don’t think Dawson grappling and mauling Bamford (which would have been a second yellow) isn’t a foul ?

No lemons here. Mostly annoyed about us giving up such lousy goals, all four of which should really have been avoided with competent defending.

What I will say though is that you guys looked pretty awful and I was surprised how wide open you were and how even we looked threatening on the attack which is rare. Make no mistake, you guys are in big trouble and will be one of the three to go for me.
