Play havertz and you’ll win

You seem to have a similar problem to us, lack of central striker options. Havertz would start every week for us mind you.

Probably Chelsea to come good against us.
We no striker no fight and once we go a goal down we may as well go home.
Should we stay in the Prem then sadly we will need some new ideas next season.
0-0.

I would settle for that now.

So Todd Boehly has turned to Chelsea legend "super Frankie" Lampard to attempt to turn around their fortunes and secure a champions league position through either an unlikely top 4 finish or equally unlikely champions league win.

-------------
That isn't why the club hired Lampard as interim manager. Neither of those things are remotely expected at this stage and we know we're not playing CL football next season.

What he is here for us to help stop the rot and bring back a semblance of feel good factor back to the club in what's been a miserable season. Paving the way for a new permanent manager to take over in the summer.

Happy with our line up with the exception of seeing Toti left back again. Don't really rate him there.

Yes I agree
Nice and sunny here let’s get a win!

I'd still like to see Traore tried as a central striker. He's very good in the air and would have great pace against slower CB's.

ng a proper CF at least. Makes a difference I think. Only just turned on but presuming this is a 442 today?

So frustrating how unproductive Semedo is going forward given he is fast as feck and clearly has good ability on the ball

Judah reckons Ait-Nouri and Jimenez left out for tactical reasons.

We are gonna drop another massive bollok with Ait-Nouri aren't we

Yeah, my score out the window.

Nunez, great goal apparently.

Nunez.

Was a stunning goal. Van Basten like volley but not quite as good.

Nunes.
Auto correct.

We are playing very well. Where the fack has this team been the last few weeks????

Can’t think of a single player in the squad least suited to playing as a central striker than Traore.

Well done on reaching a whole new level of stupidity wolfie.

Great performance. Its now surprise that we looked better with Cunha playing off a striker.

I feel dirty for saying this and please forgive me, but I actually enjoyed watching us without Neves today. We had two mobile midfielders in Gomes and Lemina, who both got about the pitch breaking up play, played forward passes, were willing to break beyond the strikers amd didn't feel the need to keep dropping deep. It was refreshing and a nice change from the predictability of a midfielder sitting between the centre backs and repeatedly playing cross field balls to full backs.

Neves is our best player, but hopefully he and Julen watched that today and can see that midfielders playing that way is the way forward. It would be nice to see Neves play that way a bit more from the start.

A great performance altogether that was and fully deserved win.
