To be fair Turner deserves huge credit in the overall scheme of things, more so than McCarthy. Our club was on its knees under Turner. Jackett also deserves huge credit.

Jacket whilst decent was in a false position our side should never have been in league one we were easy standouts

You say that but he did have to ditch all the old guard and bulit an entirely new side. No small task.
I dunno I still don't rank it as highly as Mick's achievements I guess it's down to individual preferences

Yes. All down to individual agendas. 😂
I remember those days Goldi and in 1982 the club was saved from liquidation at the last minute when it was purchased by a consortium fronted by former player Derek Dougan. We plummeted in successive season to Division 4.
Just to inform our resident Cretin. We were not 'head and shoulders' above the rest. In fact we only reached the play offs our first season in the old 4th Division, losing to Aldershot. It was only over the next two seasons that we got to the 2nd Division.
Obviously I was referring to the size and status of the club when making that statement witless, rather than the playing staff at the time. What would be our more natural league position and the expectations of the fans.
I didn’t literally mean our players were a foot taller than the other players in Division Four
Just as Cinci didn’t mean our players were going out running around on their knees every week. We wouldn’t have won many headers in the box!
We are a lower top tier/upper second tier club. Turner got us back to where we SHOULD be.
Now let that sink in.
I can't believe we have to break it down so much for sunny to catch on

I still don’t think it’s actually sunk in yet Tino! 😂
Graham Taylor was always a stand up guy....not one of our top guys just saying
Was my uncle in law was Taylor. Did alright for a while
My better half worked at the molineux when he was gaffer said he was legit lovely
Real Madrid proving that they're every bit as good as Wolves, one up at home against Chelsea.
Good work that from Jonathan Haywood, us dïckin about with McGhee and Lee whilst Taylor was taking Watford from the 3rd tier to the PL with consecutive promotions.
