And not peeing up the wall 100 years of tradition and history to become a sportswashing tool.

….

The most idiotic comment you will see today.

Qatar doesn’t need to “sports wash” FFS. They just held the biggest sporting event in the world. They hold tour tennis and golf and F1 races.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good for them. But they can keep their hands off utd.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sadly us United fans are in no position to have a say.

At last something you say that makes sense. Agreed we don't get a say at all. None of us.

But to suggest they don't want Utd to help further sports wash their nation is naive beyond belief. Of course they do. Thats why they are promising billions here and there. They don't care about profits. They want publicity and tourism to Qatar.

You really are a simpleton of the highest order if you think Sheikh Jassim is a) the real money behind the Qatar bid

….

I have not said otherwise. Why do you always argued something no one else is.

……..

they don't want us to help promote Doha and Qatar as a nation.

….:

They don’t need us to do that. Qatar is already a major player in world sport.

From what I have seen......a large percentage of Liverpool fans don't want to be a sports washing club either. I'd say more than our fanbase actually.

The lad from Liverpool who goes on the Sky overlap to.talk about Liverpool says most match goers don't want Qatar, Saudis etc.

They wouldn't be able to front Sheikh Jassim now either now he's come out as a Utd fan. They'd have to choose another front man for their state bid. 😂

They are an emerging country in sport. They don't dominate any sport do they? They are a tiny country of just a few million people afterall.

They want Utd to further entice people to Doha. That's all this is about.

We'll have Doha and Qatar airlines plastered over everything within weeks should they win this auction as they still might do of course. It isn't over yet.

Fack that. No state ownership.

We have decent owners anyways.

Hes not a United fan. I bet hes never seen United or been to Manchester.

And he's not the money behind this bid anyway. Qatar will just get one of his brothers (all the sons of the Emir) to front it in a scouse accent.

And I've talked to bin dippers who would love to guarantee trophy winning success for the forseeable. If not to just torment United fans.

Except the one who commented above and the ones from redmen TV who go on Sky overlap.

The dippers care about their history more than you think they do. I admire them immensely for that. 👍

I feel Liverpool or United should not be state owned. They are the 2 truly great English teams.

Totally agree as well. United and Liverpool are football institutions. Neither should be selling out to be a state owned vanity and tourism project.

Agreed. Nobody should be, in truth. But when you have the Tories pushing through the Newcastle bid etc it's hard to stop.

I suppose the main issue with United is owners like the Glazers should never have got their hands on us either. And I believe the rules now would prevent them from doing so.

If Sir Jim takes over and removes all debt from the club (I don't care if it does into INEOS, so long as it's not on the club), then it's probably as satisfactory an outcome as we could hope for. He's no angel either but at the fees we're talking about, you aren't going to get a nice guy

So because they have a few events that's them done? Jesus Christ I have never liked you but I always thought you had some intellect. Obviously not.

They want Utd to further enhance their nation. Throwing billions at the Glazers and then promising a new stadium and training ground? They clearly don't care too much about profits. So why buy the club then?

Your preferred bidder is Qatar even though you yourself have said that you know their bid isn't genuine and it's really state funded.

Can't you see how stupid that makes you look? Theres only two bidders and one of them isn't telling the truth on where the money is coming from. 😂

No such thing as a squeaky clean billionaire

United and Liverpool generate plenty of revenue and with the correct owners can complete with the oil clubs in my opinion

Si Jim could well be removing the debt immediately for all we know. We don't have that clarified.

And if he doesn't immediately he might do within a year or so if the debt becomes a big problem.

Too many people have lost their minds over all this when we don't even have the full facts.

Tourism. Business. The works.

Having the biggest football club in the PL on their portfolio is definitely going to help them.

Why else do you think they want it then? They are promising billions for everything and no dividends. It's clearly not for profit or to sell on is it?

Having Utd as an asset will definitely help them grow their nation and attract tourism to Qatar.

City's owner didn't plaster Etihad all over their club by accident. You do know that, right?

Genuine as in real but not genuine as it's clearly a sham company set up to the play at the heartstrings of Utd fans.
