Nagelsmann for me was the only cure for Poch going to Chelsea.
That's now done. Levy's now out of excuses. I can't quite believe just how awful he's been over the last few years. His number one target has said no so you just know he's gonna get this fella in from Roma who will then have his own shortlist of abject Italian chancers. Remind you of anything? 2021 by any chance.
Not getting Poch or Nagelsmann also ends any chance that Kane stays. He'll be just as clueless as we are about what's going on and Arne Slot or any of the other candidates are hardly going to excite him into buying into the project.
I hope every single decent player we have puts in a transfer request to really dig that knife deeper into Levy. Someone needs to twist it whilst it's in there so the cuuuuunt can't get back up again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Same. Out of the options left I guess Slot is the only semi exciting one left but Eridivisie tax in'it.
I can't get behind this club anymore. What's the point? What on earth are we even backing? What would we be cheering for? To what end?
I'd like to believe that supporters vote with their feet but Levy is fully aware that fans feeling apathy won't matter as he has a huge queue of fans on the waiting list for season tickets. It means he can go on making mistake after mistake with impunity.
We should all be angrier than we are about this.

Well then they really haven't got a clue what they're doing. It says to me that they're tired of the pursuit, out of ideas and hoping it works out with a rookie.
We're all done with Levy, and frankly Levy is done with ambition and the club in general. His behaviour and decision making feels like the last breath of a man who's heart just isn't in it anymore. He can't say that though because as a shareholder, it'll be suicide. He wants to club to be a saleable asset but he's not really got the care or energy to get us to a position to sell. ENIC can't sell up now as the valuation will be too low and they know it.
I'm sensing an Elis Short / Mike Ashley style holding of the reigns until someone comes in with an offer but with absolute no desire to do anything other than trot along slowly. What a sorry club we've become. Poch masked so many issues behind the scenes yet we didn't want him this time around. Incredible.
Reckon it'll be Amorim now, purely because everyone seems to have it in their heads that this set of players can only play a back 3 and Levy will fancy that as cheaper than buying good players for a better formation

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the irony about Sandy. He's an old timer but doesn't even understand that the very ethos of the importance of playing attractive football was almost cast in stone by club legend Danny Blanchflower with the following quote...
"The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."
And then he starts getting a major hardon for Jose and claims it's only ever about winning and not attractive football. Glory, in the context Blanchflower meant it, was most definitely not about winning. It's about the importance of playing the right way as a basic fundamental.
Surprised to see Sandy pizz all over his heroes like that. Shocking, in fact. He can't be a true Spurs fan if he can't understand the benefits of playing attractive football.
Jose is a terrible manager who would have got battered in that cup final against pep just like he did earlier that calendar year.

Funny isn't it. Somehow the narrative stuck that Mourinho would've auto-won that trophy for Spurs but he could easily have got absolutely battered even more than Mason did.
Bit like how the narrative has stuck that Spurs have a squad that can only play a back 3, as if that's now the established truth forever more and a back 4 is no longer a valid formation for Spurs
we had no chance either way, we were shiiit.
Greenest premier league club 4 years running though, you'll never sing that btw
I always find the Jose getting the final argument funny, things were so chit regardless of being in a poxy league cup final against a team who'd won it 5 years running or something
Couldn't be happier the toxic cvnt left

I am fed up with having to look at your nonsense on every Spurs article.
Just feck off and go and support Chelsea. Your an embarrassment to call yourself a Spurs fan.
But it’s still an indefensible decision. But it was probably one of my favourite things to happen in football because I know how much it would boil Mourinho’s piiiiiss.

Jose is on the cusp of reaching a 2nd European final in the two seasons since he left Spurs. Honestly some of our fans are clueless. Football is about winning, not being a permanent loser playing attractive football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And remind us who sacked him literally days before a cup final and put a rookie in charge??!!!

safe to say the paratici fiasco has not left me with much faith in levy's DoF hiring capabilities
telegraph I think (or maybe the evening standard) linking us to the bloke at Roma who hired Jose ffs

He's repeating the exact same mistakes. Hire an Italian that sees the benefits of employing Jose, ergo a wilful ignorance of his commitment to play attractive football.
I'm so, so close to just dropping it all. I haven't got another circulation of unambitious, cautious football in me. I've only got passing interest now to get that absolute clown out of the club.

I think Arthur Rowe with the one-two method or Bill Nicholson with the short passing style would disagree.
I think it went, "It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."

Probably, but it was still a daft decision to sack him before the final. You’d have stood a better chance with him than Mason.

Greenest premier league club 4 years running though, you'll never sing that btw

I always find the Jose getting the final argument funny, things were so chit regardless of being in a poxy league cup final against a team who'd won it 5 years running or something
Couldn't be happier the toxic cvnt left

Respectfully Sandy, just do one mate!
No one wants to hear it. Argue with yourself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fridge, you go and do one. You are a fecking drama queen going on about Poch 24/7, and Spurs will collapse if Poch or Nagelsmann don't take the job.

With the help of the fans that wanted him gone, as they did Nuno, and Conte. Yes Levy may have pulled the trigger, but our fan base is acting like spoilt brats most of the time with their constant whining and moaning when a manager loses a match.

The thing is Jose was apparently washed up at Spurs according to our fan base, now he looks like taking Roma to successive European Finals.
It's embarrassing our fans think Pochettino is actually a a better manager than Mourinho.
