weird !!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The club have handled it brilliantly, get a few names out there that had everyone going wtf is that guy, then we look at BR and realise that yup out of them all he is the best choice, very clever strategy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I also think there’s just as much chance Knudsen, Maresca, Potter and whoever else all said naw.

Are we assuming BR will play the same way he did before?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fooking hope not … last 18 months anyway!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we will see a more flexible system this time and within games. He had different variations with Leicester so would expect we will see the same.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Different variations, each one resulting in Leicester getting fooked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And also had them finishing in the top 6, twice I think, and a Cup, granted his final season has some poor optics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
5th place twice in a row. I think they narrowly missed 3rd/4th the first year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rodgers was very vocal about not playing a system unless it had been thoroughly gone through on the training ground. Playing twice a week constrained that and hence his love for and re invigoration from winter breaks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we aren't going to Dubai on the lash

Rangers fans pretending Rodgers didn't win a treble when Rangers had a starting XI mostly the same as they had last season.
Look, who are we to argue when they have Mick Beale who has been successful in winning the post split trophy.

We had Pedro, Murty and Nicholl as managers the last season he won a treble and we finished behind Aberdeen
Plus only 2 players remain from that squad so not quite.
I think Celtic have allowed him to take the pash out of you twice now but at least we will get to see if he can do it being challenged.

You'll want them back by Christmas.
He left Celtic a sinking ship.
He left Leicester a sunk ship.
Their fans were singing about wanting him to die, making banners about him being a fraud.
He's worse than the guy he takes over from.
I'll admit I am baffled by the overwhelmingly positive reception.

Certainly not on here where many people have expressed doubts and a loyalty didn't want him.
At the end of the day, there's probably an acceptance that he's the best coach we're likely to get.

Possibly but to me it feels very similar to get Lenny in he knows what to do but with more fanfare.
Guy on the way down gets a chance to relive old glories.
It could work out for him but like your missus all the things that happened in the past will come back out every time something new goes wrong.
