I generally know nothing about Rodgers, met him only once at a supporters do and he seemed a decent fellah and chatted to all and sundry

If he comes back and we win the league I'm happy as I have only ever bothered about that, anything else has been a bonus and Rangers look like they are signing to improve their team so it could be a lot more competitive this season, obvs improving results in Europe would be nice anaw but I look upon that as another bonus like the cup comps, I'm easy please as Mrs P will confirm

I will take an optimistic look at it and say we might be getting a better version of BR this time round, he has good PL experience and with a team where I am lead to believe he wasn't fully backed (sounds familiar) still won the FA Cup and 2 top 5 finishes. If he hadn't of been with us before (and his record for us was fantastic) we would be going overwhelmingly crazy with joy over this appointment

Leicester went bad after the chopper crash and the idiot son at king over plus ffp cutting in, £100m needed for the training ground and finance in a mess while the estate handover was sorted and ffs imagine the emotional mess if DD flew into the main stand. Motivation takes a battering. I believe BR needs positivity to work effectively hence the interference fcking things last time and the Importance of setting the ground rules this time.

Think it’s a bit of a myth that Leicester STILL had a squad full of talented players. No decent keeper, a defence reliant on Jonny Evans to organise them (who was crocked virtually all season), and no top level striker (Vardy’s finished, others were patchy at best). In midfield, Maddison and Barnes are quality, but Tieleman’s downed tools to see out his contract 18 months ago. Most teams in the Prem had better squads IMO. Shouldn’t have gone down, admittedly.

Happy to stand corrected and also could not for the life of me chat about other relegated squads if honest?

If i was a bin raider I wouldn't be happy knowing we've just set the conditions for an absolute meltdown if a few results go badly early.

Ndidi one of the best defensive midfielders in the league for a few years.

Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans then Vardy plus his big money signings like Daka (30m), Perez (35m), Soumare (20m), Souttar, Faes, Vestegaard (17m a piece)
