The Colombian kids survival after the plane crash should be the most fascinating story of the year, but it seems they have found it hard to get too much info on it.

I'm sure there will be a Netflix movie in 2024.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I dunno, not much suspense is there? They all die and no hint or hope of survival and rescue.

Also wish people would stop with the whataboutery. It is feckin obvious why certain stories become big news ffs and the titanic is always going to gain lots of attention.

Ahh. Such a shame. I had a tenner on Hammish killing the other 4 to save oxygen. Bummer.

Confirmed - debris field is from the sub
All 5 dead
Massive implosion

At least it would have been quick, better than dying from hypoxia

Some expert on news earlier was saying the pressure exerted on the sub would have been similar to the weight of the Eiffel Tower pushing against it

That would not surprise me. The water pressure at that depth would have been staggering.

Instant death, faster than they could blink, there won’t be anything left of their bodies and they paid 250k for the privilege

Probably better than four days in the dark and then a slow death

Apparently diving in international waters where you can do what you like and obviously in a craft that wasn't certified and the wrong shape for that depth

Guess what happens

The authorities informed the families. They’re said to be crushed.
