Ok but Fabio Silva better
2 more changes Doc and Gomes did well
another easy chance we really don’t have any natural goalscorers, good players yes but we need to get it in the net !
0-0 and all over them mostly
Nice to see our more attacking style without Neves
Sounded like a decent performance altogether. Goals will come.
Watched some of that on a stream, couldn't make it there tonight. Thought we looked OK, Luton poor though they did put the ball in our net 3 times. Fabio looked good, Kalajdzic, Hwang, Nunes, Sarabia and Cunha had chances that they really should have put away.
Traore looked good too and was impressed by Fraser (think it was him anyway) when he came on.
Just got to be a lot sharper in front of goal and we'll be fine
Thought Sasa did pretty well considering how long he's been out, he'll certainly benefit from 70 minutes on the pitch.
Funny how we can watch the same game and have such different views from where I was sat sasa was absolute πΆπ©
Another game where we totally outplayed the opposition but didn’t score. But not a bad game to watch, particularly first half when I thought all 11 had decent games. Kalajdzic and Nunes both missed good chances first half, and Kalajdzic again, Cunha and Hwang should have scored in the second. Be nice to think the goals will come but for the best part of three years they haven’t so let’s wait and see.
I thought Sasa did ok after one year out and Doc looked like he’d never been away. Nunes very good at times and frustrating at others. Gomes and Traore both looked good in midfield. Hwang wasted two chances second half with his poor control but was otherwise ok. Sarabia the best of the second half subs. Luton didn’t give our defenders a hard night.
We played primarily a 4231 set up which I thought worked well with Sasa up front and Nunes, Fabio and Hwang behind him. Then second half Fraser up front with Sarabia, Cunha and Neto behind.
Star of the show certainly Fabio who tested their keeper a few times, set up chances for others and worked his socks off. The crowd are totally behind him, willing him to succeed, and he looked genuinely thrilled by the reception he got.
I hope I'm not wrong here, but I'm increasingly getting the impression that Fabio is going nowhere. He definitely deserves at least half a season, preferably a whole one.
Sounds like we played a very attacking system, just a shame the goals aren't there yet.

Right now he would have to be the starter i think. He and Cunha is what we should see on day one but whether we will or not, we shall see.
Rennes are doing a mini uk tour with games against Forest last night and Wolves on Saturday. They beat Forest 5-0

Our build up play was decent but we seemed afraid to own it and pull the trigger and just looked for another pass, first half atleast...I sit parallel to the pen spot on the billy wright couldn't quite see the attempts in the second half was too far away π
With only one of our top five goal scorers from last season playing last night, we were always going to struggle in front of goal.
We did have a lot of attempts on goal yesterday Tino. Their keeper made a handful of decent saves and there were other occasions when we had clear chances and missed the target. I don’t think creating opportunities was the issue, taking those chances was something we certainly need to improve on, or get someone in who can do that job
I think we all know by now that we need to bring somebody in?
That's what I'm saying our build up play was decent until we got twelve yards out and we lacked composure by taking one more touch or trying one last pass
Our player are very nice but we need a selfish git up top who'll put his laces through the ball
Lemina missing from the squad last night, but that was due to illness. He should be available on Saturday
Surprised to see that NFL legend Tom Brady has bought a stake in Birmingham City
I wouldn't even say decent saves they were routine saves you'd expect a premier League keeper to make
Still don't know how sasa didn't score that one in the first half

Taking the youngest to the match tonight so it's bound to be a drab nil nil these kids have to learn to curb their enthusiasm early if they're gonna be wolves fans

Not quite fully drab but not too far off

Wonder how much it would cost to build a Steve Bull clone
