Whatever does or doesn't happen with that woman will not alter any of the facts surrounding the Rubiales case.

She is not the highest ranking football official representing her nation.

She has not, in the exercise of her official work, openly and conspicuously thrust out and fiddled with her genitals in front of the royal family and a watching world.

She has not responded to critics calling them a bunch of w@nkers and @rse'oles

She has not caused a rift in the national team by making public a series of private requests for improvements.

She is not under investigation on charges of corruption and embezzlement in the exercise of her public office.

Wilfully ignoring all of the prior context around the Rubiales, which you were already fully aware of, just underlines your own misogyny. You're entitled to your opinion, but you're only showing yourself up.

I'm not about to waste another half hour of my time watching the Quereda video. Whatever it is or isn't that he says or does in there is of no consequence to what should happen to Rubiales.

Rubiales did an excellent job as head of Spain's PFA, but he made it clear from the very start that he was unfit to head the national FA. He hadn't even been in charge for a month when he sacked Lopetegui just 2 days before the World Cup just as a willy-swinging exercise.

Peks himself had always been of the same opinion. It's only his own misogynist agenda that's made him a Rubiales fanboy overnight.

Peks, it wasn't just a peck on the lips, that's what you seem to be wilfully ignoring.

Instead of insistently blaming this on some kind of woke agenda and consider the broader context: all his previous (including with the women's team), then add in the crotch-grabbing, and then his own response to the criticism.

He was always going to come under fire for the kiss because it was a completely dumb-ass thing to do, but it might never have escalated to this degree if he hadn't been such an aersole on so many other counts too.

Producing other footage of similar isolated instances where there's been nowhere near a similar reaction just serves to demonstrate how much the context actually matters.

Just to remind you, he's also had Spain's majority right-wing party also calling for his resignation. Don't you think they'd have relished the political opportunity to jump on 'the wokies' if it had been 'just the kiss', for want of a better expression?

Just read someone online saying they reckoned he was off his head during the final.

Fully fits in with the cut of his jib, doesn't it?

And it would also explain his bizarre remarks around the Piqué affair when he said he half expected someone to plant a stash of coke in his car.
