No Bats BLM does not include every protest against racism, many black people are actually against that scam organisation.
Some black women are just very rude and ghetto, especially in that area and some south Asian shop owners are very disrespectful and rude, you buy in their shop and they treat you like crap, I've experienced it myself, so there has been this long running tension.
It's a very known thing that you can't get a refund for a lot of those type of products in those shops, it's usually clearly stated.
But as I said before I would like to see what happened before to make a real judgement
Dushane and Sully from Top Boy are going to pay that shopkeeper a visit
1.Not sure if they were BLM tbh but they were claiming this was some form of oppression against black people(ie stopping her stealing)- Pretty sure he would have reacted had the thief(yes thats what she is) was brown white blue or green!

There's always more than meets the eye when stuff like this happens in a particular community. We only see the few minutes of video and make conclusions from it but it's entirely possible that there's a lot more flesh to the story than that, especially when the community protests.
Its also possible that what we see is all that happened, but claims that she had gone back for a refund or something like that makes me think there could be some history there and perhaps that's why the community has come together to protest.
That's another reason why social media facks up the world. You never get any background to flesh out the story. It might look dumb, and might actually be dumb, but also possible there's details you just don't have. Just saying.

1.black people protesting something doesn't automatically = blm
2.The 6ft plus guy had his hands on her neck, swinging her about...regardless of what happened, that's not acceptable.
3.Why should they accept that? No community would.
4. This place is NOT the place to talk about these things, it always just get silly, territorial and the point always get lost.
The OP's mind is made up before he wrote this.

2.The 6ft plus guy had his hands on her neck.. And? His livelihood was at risk he has every right to stop someone stealing what he's worked hard for. Wonder what you'd do if a bunch of men broke into your home and wanted to take everything you've worked so hard for? Doubt you'd offer them a cup of tea and some biscuits right?
3.Why should they accept that? Actually no community should and would accept their good name being spoilt under the guise of theft!

Oh come on Mamba. It’s not the 1990s anymore. If anything it’s the complete opposite these days. If this lady was white, it wouldn’t have made the news, even social media. Not everything is about race.
This, based on what we know, has nothing to do with race at all. Yet we’re seeing the same reaction yet again.
If she had acted properly and civilly, none of this would have happened.
I see no colour here. I see a shopkeeper trying fight off / restrain a thief.
What has the world come to when a shopkeeper should be allowed to watch people come in and walk out with his stock without paying?!

Regardless whether the OP mentions their race or not, it has nothing to do with race yet crowds gathered stating that Black Lives Matter.

Who knows how many occasions he encounters this daily and how many near misses he's had. He also does not know if she is armed. Maybe the aggression may be disproportionate, who knows. What it does not change is he is trying to earn an honest living, he can't do that if his stock is stolen from him. It does not matter if the stock is immaterial, it still has a value attached to it.
People can read between the lines and make it a race matter but for me it's a shopkeeper against a thief. If that was me I would be aggressive irrespective of race, I have more important sh!t to get on with, the last thing I want is a petty thief.

She was attempting to take goods to the value. - but how was she doing she? Sensibly and rationally adding up the costs to the correct value?
He physically stopped her leaving, and eventually shoved her. - he did, I think she touched him first trying to leave at which point he shoved her, she then slapped him etc
He went on to be overly aggressive towards her. - I think by grabbing her throat, yes but I don’t think that was intentional, he clearly continued to just restrain her / detain her
She should have put her issues across calmly. He shouldn't have shoved her and made it physical. - agreed but she shouldn’t have tried to leave
Impossible to say if it is racially motivated, but clwalry the protesters believe this isn't a one off. - it might not be a one-off. The protestors claim that shopkeepers look down on black peoples and treat them like sheet, if that’s true then it explains her reaction but doesn’t justify it

I guess you have to tell yourself that for some reason. I didn't say everything is about race. I could direct the same comment towards you. I don't know why you and a few others are acting like the video is the be all and end all when it's very possible that that might perhaps not be the case. It's case closed for you which is strange as you are otherwise grounded and deductive.

That poor woman worked really hard for her money then this guy just gone and taken it away from her and won't give it back then choked her out.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Not sure if they were BLM tbh but they were claiming this was some form of oppression against black people(ie stopping her stealing)- Pretty sure he would have reacted had the thief(yes thats what she is) was brown white blue or green!
4. This place is NOT the place to talk about these things, it always just get silly, territorial and the point always get lost.- Probably agree with this point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Another one who's mind is made up regardless, I really doubt you'd have this same energy if a 6ft black guy done that to a white lady, regardless of what she done, but no doubt you'll tell me you'd say the same thin right?

Good grief. And you have the nerve to throw the ‘mind made up’ jibe in. That’s a real lack of self awareness you have there….
