did 3 runs last week
6k, 5k, 8k
I’ve got physio for my back on weds. Had a bad strain twisting with bad form and got so bad I couldn’t walk or lift my right leg. Been to doctor and seems muscular rather than serious but it’s been so debilitating.
Had my first run Saturday, after a couple bottles of wine the night before (I know!) and done 27 mins. I don’t think I’ll ever see below 20 again
wanna try get back to 3 a week at least regularly with one a fast tempo/threshold (4:30/4:40/km pace) and a long run at the weekend of over an hour.

ive never gone below 20min would love to though. sometimes, if its not a crazy hangover, just feeling it, a run can weirdly make you feel better

great effort to do 27 minutes after an injury break.
sorry to hear of your problems, but sounds like it's well on the mend, so good!
i've lost nearly a stone in the last 2 months so that's probably helped me with those runs I've done this week.
They're a lot better than I expected coming back from a break.
Reckon I might be able to break 30 minutes for 5k which would be the first time in nearly a year (albeit I was down to about 26 minutes then).
28.44
also I've realised that my 3k and 5k course is 50m over, so you can probably round that down safely to 28.30 (albeit no tshirt which makes a few seconds difference I reckon).
was very slightly worried about my tummy muscle towards the end, but think it's ok (fingers crossed). wasn't going to stop at 95% complete regardless.
i collapsed at the finish line on a grass verge for a couple of minutes, and a couple of comfortable gentlemen in a Porsche stopped and offered me the kiss of life. They stopped again after I got up and started walking back and checked again. Nice people.
actually, it's as near as damn it 5k.
stick with the 28.44.
although that's on quite a hilly track.
2x6min intervals at 4:30/km pace
