"Would be great if they have a massive brawl with benches getting involved and huge pitch invasion by both set of fans resulting in a points deduction.

-----

a dreamer like me - I hear ya.. then both teams go full Eric Cantona and start kicking the crowd... utter scenes !!

think a draw would be best for us.

-------DRAW--------

A draw, or Leicester win. Realistically, however we're not going to catch the Foxes, but Ipswitch and Soton, good chances to catch them.

So based on that, a Leicester win is just fine by me

Leicester win - Back to back defeats, could they slump like we used to when out in front? Con to this would be Ipswich getting a massive 3 pts so not an ideal outcome

Draw - Best result, Leicester would be disappointed

Leicester win - Next best scenario. Leicester can have the title, we want 2nd!

Ipswich win* top one.

Southampton play some good teams in March - key month in the run for them. Got a feeling it’s going to come down to that last game at ER

Leicester win, or a draw.
Ipswich win would be the worst result.

Hate playoffs - it's literally a lottery...especially for Leeds

Some interesting stats re remaining fixtures

Matches remaining against top 12 teams (away in brackets)
Leeds 8 (3)
Southampton 10 (4 : Leeds, Leicester, Ipswich, West Brom!)
Leicester 10 (5)
Ipswich 9 (5)

Wins against top 12 teams home and away so far this season:

Leeds 7 (4 home 3 away)
Leicester 7 (4 home 3 away)
Ipswich 8 (4 home, 4 away)
Southampton 3 (2 home 1 away)

Suggests Southampton have played by far the easier fixtures and have a massively tough run in with a poor record against top half sides.

Irrespective of result tonight, methinks the race for top 2 is far from over.

A Leicester win is the only positive result – the Foxes are already promoted – there's only one team who have topped the table at Xmas and failed to get promoted (yep, Leeds...). So better they run away with it and leave us to scrap with someone we have a chance of catching.

That gives me hope knowing that Southampton have some tough fixtures to come. Having said that we’ve dropped points away from home to those near the bottom end

Draw for me then Leicester win. Ipswich win would be bad.

It’s a long shot anyone catches Leicester but stranger things have happened. Someone would need to go on a great run AND Leicester would need to start losing and drawing a few. Never say never though.

A draw tonight puts five points between us and Ipswich. We win Weds that’s down to 2 points. Then I think we play again a week Friday before both they and Southampton play again? We could go second with two wins.

All ifs and but though. After we play Bristol (who play Tuesday before they play us Friday) Ipswich travel to Preston and Southampton to Rotherham.

Of course, knowing Leeds, it will all go nits up😉

Can someone explain why people want Leicester to win?..

If Ipswich win, it'll put them 4pts behind Leicester, and Leicester will stay as they are now 11pts in front of us!..

Extra pressure on Leicester and any team behind them should be looking at catching them and not Ipswich!..

With 18 games left to play there is time to catch all in front of us, yes I know they can pull away, but looking at 2nd when 2nd is watching first means we should be looking at catching first!..

Hate to fully give up on the title so I'll go for the draw. Pick up two points on each.

Four teams going for the top two places. A win against an improving Norwich is vital, though. We have to keep up the pressure on those around us. Fortunately, they have to play to win too. Should be a brilliant game. Great stats, Salonica. Hopefully the tide will turn on Ipswich and Saints, but we have to do our bit too.

Our last game of the season is at home to Southampton btw. Possibility of one of the best/biggest championships games ever. Litterally could be a playoff final with the winner going up.

Hence why I think a draw is best for us. Titles are twin with 18 games to play.

I can see why we beat both these already. Can we do the double over both of them? I think so.

4 shots all game and 2 on target. That’s both teams!
