3 fixtures before international break
If we win those 3 I think we are almost there. Dont see Leicester and Southampton or Ipswich doing that
I meant to say this earlier but didn't want to jinx things but the last time we lost 3-2 away to Chelsea it was also to a last minute goal and then 3 days later we had an away game but lost 7 nil to Man City.... so we've definitely improved results wise on that score so every cloud and all that... Positive vibes negate the doom and gloom brigade!
Think we'll beat Stoke comfortably but Sheff Wed could be a repeat of today. Think we'll get atleast 4 from the next 6 available. Expected Ipswich to find Plymouth hard work, they didn't :/

Anyhoo I don't see things as bleakly as Lowfields because what seems to have been lost while we worry about Ipswich and Southampton is the complete self combustion by Leicester... 3 straight defeats with 3 very tricky away games next their wheels are well and truly
coming off the bus.
Remarkably from a position of virtual guaranteed promotion Leicester are managing to implode and I think if we win all of our homes and draw all our away games giving us 96 points that will comfortably secure us an automatic promotion spot.
We've had a blip today but nothing in my mind suggests we won't be celebrating our return to the EPL next season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you 4 real - If Ipswich keep winning, they go up, as they are 2 points ahead of us. Nothing is guaranteed that we are going up.
Admin, can this thread be restarted from scratch as it is too long, like nearly 600 comments. Thanks

I thought the same as we seemed to find it tough at Plymouth. Maybe Plymouth had an off-day - I’ll clutch at any straw!
Batty - I would be the last person to see Lowfields get hounded off this board, but if ridiculous statements/opinions are made and there is no balance, particularly when we are doing well, our right to free expression and robust challenge is perfectly allowable.
To put it in context, we haven't lost in the league this year and gave the Billionaire Boys a scare - that's brilliant form.
Opinions aren't fact.
Lowfields feels a certain way. Fine by me.
It's football. It's Leeds. No need getting
bent out of shape. Enjoy the banter. Try

Yes he’s a cretin and talks utter rubbish.
But still should be allowed to post, to highlight his utterly wrong opinions.

Yes I'm very real... are you????
Nothing but doom and gloom and doubt and catastrophic predictions that because we drew today, we didn't lose and Ipswich won with a very very lucky deflected O. G. that turned the match their way you've decided with 11 games to go that Leeds aren't going to get in the top 2 because Ipswich are going to win every game from now on in.... that's some prediction that!
If that happens then okay I'll doth my cap to you Sir but I'd imagine we'd be pretty close behind them and with Leicester dropping points left right and centre I'd wager we'll have enough points to finish in 2nd.
Look it's pretty obvious there are going to be further twists and turns so to throw the towel in now with 11 games to go like Lowfields has and give us no hope of achieving automatic promotion is extremely pessimistic and creates nothing but negative vibes so if that's your thing then so be it but I prefer a more positive approach.
I saw what you did there LIW.
And it made me laugh out loud. Cheers.

Fair enough..I like the thread but it's very long. Anyway leave it.
Why are people biting at Lowfields. These predictions from him are very reassuring. Never known anyone be as reliably wrong all the time.
Last time we were in this division he was calling us all idiots for not believing him that we wouldn’t even finish top 6. Still tried to claim he was right when we won the league by 10 points.
And he doesn’t acknowledge bets after he’s lost so don’t worry about him being forced off the board.
I gave him 100/1 for us to miss out on top 6 and he wouldn’t even give the tenner he bet to charity.
I will start to to worry when Lowfields thinks we are going up because it’s become evident that Newton had a fourth law ‘lowfields will never make a correct prediction related to football’
Keep the thread going until end of season. Been good to have all the other teams' result related stuff in one place.
Tuesday night
Leeds v Stoke
Sunderland v Leicester
Ipswich v Bristol City
Wednesday
Southampton v Preston
All games on Sky
Difficult game for Leicester but you would expect wins for the other 3
Final point re Hudders match….
Leeds could have played much better, but ball was in play for 22 minutes in a 55-minute half !
That’s why Hudders didn’t tire 2nd half with -0 men…they’d had the first half off !
Thats absolutely shocking.
Should set a minimum of 35 mins in play each half…. even if matches finish an hour later
Opinions such as this are just as much patent nonsense as anything spouted by Lowfields.
"I agree with Lowfields73 - if we are in the playoffs, we won't win, as we are jinxed in playoffs. Can you imagine Leeds and Leicester not going up, could happen".
The outcome of a game played many years ago, none of the players at the club are playing now. Obviously the Derby ties are recent history but to this the outcome of that will impact any games this time around, why anyone would think that.
A lot of inaccuracies there faith. Could of sworn you offered 250/1 that we wouldn't get promoted. Waited for your bank details which you never sent. Just wondering if we hadn't got promoted would you have paid me £2500?
Also got a lot of predictions right, relegation from the premier league for instance and by the way how's your hero Tyler Roberts doing?

Mont, I don’t remember you as being one to take the bait from anyone…
My Dad is almost 92 and still talks about his first mewnin memory of Leeds was seeing us relegated the first season after WWII.
“We’ve a long history of ups and downs” as he often reminds me. Takes them all in his stride. his last memory was seeing Leeds 3-0 win away at Cardiff
There are only two certainties in the Premier League: stay up…or be relegated.
A pretty easy one to get right if a pessimist predicts it every season.
Last time we were relegated we just missed out and thanks to Watford didn’t bounce straight back up. The following time was the Derby debacle.
Actually, if we went up via the playoffs, I get a sneaky feeling Aston Villa are a good example of what can be achieved when you win them.
For my penneth of opinion… I think our easier run in will get us over the automatic finish line.
Injuries and above all managing playing time for important members of the squad are important.
We looked jaded yesterday, but still took a point away from home.
We’ve a little revenge match on Tuesday where we need back the three points they took from us earlier in the season. All of the current bottom 5 have taken points from us this season, so we’ve plenty of motivation.”
