Ipswich look the bigger threat than Saints atm. Saints falling apart gives us a great chance for top 2

SOUTHAMPTON LOSE

Interesting results today... Southampton losing is a real bonus while Ipswich you have to say are just proving to be a very stubborn outfit to shake off but goal difference is thankfully keeping our noses infront of them.

Yep - we need to shake Ipswich off.

Still a great weekend. And it's still a four horse race.
But, second place is in our own hands now. Keep
winning and we'll be up. Which is great.

Ipswich = doing amazing season

Ipswich have just had 4 teams in the bottom half of the table and got 4 not always convincing wins.

They have got Southampton to play, Norwich away, Hull and Coventry away. Plenty of more likely fixtures for them to drop points.

Let’s juts concentrate on ourselves 👍

Even though we're level pegging with Ipswich as Best has said they have some very tricky fixtures coming up so with that in mind I'm starting to think that 7 more wins to give us 93 points will secure 2nd spot but obviously we have to take care of our own business and Huddersfield away, Stoke at Home and then Shef Wed away need to be given the utmost respect and hopefully after those games the promotion picture is a bit clearer.

I think top 4 are worlds apart from the rest, West Brom excellent at home though, but just a massive gulf.

I just knew Ipswich would come back. It’s what they do. I would have put a bet in if I could.

However Southampton are faltering badly and have now been downgraded “play-off contenders” by the BBC:

“Neil Harris made a winning return to Millwall as his side stunned Championship play-off contenders Southampton at St Mary's.”

Leicester must now be looking over their shoulders with two teams within six points of them. They can’t afford any more slip ups really.

We play before Leicester next ……. So when they kick off it could be down to 3 points difference. Best way to built pressure on them

As they say in cricket

Score board pressure.

As what happens every season.

Teams down the bottom start picking up points, this time of year.

No easy games now

3 games before international break. If we can get 9 points I suspect they’ll be a bit of a gap between 3rd place…… we’ll get a much clearer picture of what’s needed.

Then hope our lads come through unscathed for Wales game

Chelsea looked dead on their feet and the pace of the game this afternoon was pedestrian.

Looking forward to Wednesday's game, be interesting to see just how well they recover. Think we very much can give them a game but obviously the league comes first.

So it seems we’re watching Ipswich now more than Southampton.

Saw a post today which said both Leeds and Ipswich have only 4 matches left to play against a top 10 side. We got 3 of them at home, they’ve got 3 of them away.

Both play Coventry away
Both play Southampton at home
Both play Hull, we got them at home, they got them away.
Other game we got Sunderland at home and they’ve got Norwich away.

Prefer our fixtures.
