Similarly I find it very interesting that they all rush to tell us "it was warmer in the past" and "the Earth's climate goes in cycles" when literally the only reason they know that, is because they've listened to climate scientists. The exact same climate scientists who are saying the current warming is not part of any natural cycle.
So the experts are extremely reliable credible sources for all of Earth's history right up until they get to the industrial revolution, then they're shills for the NWO

Be more mental than them.
When they say the earth is flat, say you don't listen to them mainstream nutjobs. The world is actually cone shaped.
They say something crazy like the Saudi's did 9/11 and not the yanks. I say the towers were never even there, they were holograms.
When they say we never landed on the moon, it was done in a hollywood studio. I say you don't believe Hollywood exists do you. Pfft you haven't even begun to understand keep digging then when they ask for an explanation, say you need to get there yourself, do the research.
Use their silly tactics against them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been telling people this for years! Don't argue against them. Pitch yourself further outside of their view point and bring them back across to where you actually want them to be. Go to the even more extreme. It often works well on here through the form of parody...

Well, there's certainly no point in arguing against them.
You can't argue against them, as they believe they are always right.
They said we'd be in lockdown and wearing masks until 2025. The fact that this hasn't happened somehow proves them right.
They said we'd be forced to take boosters for the rest of our lives, and that we'd need vaccine passports to partake in society and buy food and access money. The fact that this hasn't happened somehow proves them right.
They said the vaccines were designed to depopulate the planet. The fact that the world's population continues to rise somehow proves them right.
They said Covid was harmless, but also that it was a bioweapon.
They said there was no such thing as Covid, but also that it was developed in a Chinese lab funded by the US.
They said there was no such thing as asymptomatic transmission, and that testing for Covid was cruel and unnecessary, yet they are (or pretend to be) as angry as anyone about hospital patients being released into care homes.
They said there was no such thing as Covid variants – that they were 'scariants' made up by politicians and the media to keep the 'scamdemic' going – yet they were all over Omicron once there were reports that it was milder than previous variants.
They compared Covid vaccines and restrictions to Natzi Germany, but many of them are proud to be racist, homophobic and downright nasty.
They said the war in Ukraine wasn't happening and that it was all media lies and western propaganda, but they also believe Russia to be entirely justified in their supposedly nonexistent attack on Ukraine.
I've noticed that these freedom-loving people tend to side with Russia, a country that jails political opponents and protestors, and raids gay clubs because the LGBT community is 'extremist'.
I've noticed that many of them are openly Islamophobic, yet they regard conservative Muslim countries as some kind of social paragon because they aren't 'woke'.
They accuse 'the MSM' of scaremongering, yet they idolise the clearly insane Neil Oliver, who gazes into the camera with his psychopathic stare and rambles on and on (and on) about how everything is evil and everyone is out to get us.
They tell us all not to live in fear, yet they themselves live in constant terror of Bill Gates, 5G, QR codes, clouds, the WEF, the WHO, the BBC, Big Tech, Big Pharma, plant-based foods, weather forecasts, one-way systems, traffic filters and self-checkouts (to be fair, I'm also pretty scared of self-checkouts).
They are stupid, selfish, stubborn and (wholly unjustifiably) smug.

Yeah so no-one is saying there has never been a conspiracy but a CIA proposal half a century ago doesn’t mean all the scientists everywhere are lying.
Another favourite thing about conspiracy theorists is that they will take the word of some struck off Doctor over all the other Doctors everywhere.
Or believe David Icke. He’s a failed goalkeeper and shiiiiit journalist who, somehow, is privy to the world darkest secrets (and coincidentally makes a lot of money in doing so).
I'm not anti Covid jab...I've had 3 of them
The safety profile of the vaccine was rushed through ....there's no argument about that

dunno
I think JFK assassination was a deep state coup d'etat
but is that even a conspiracy theory anymore ?
I think most people who've looked in to it agree
I think the US and her vassal states (Western Europe especially Anglo countries) use propaganda to brainwash citizens so they can geopolitik for their own gain and domination (Iraq, Libya, Syria, 2014 coup in Ukraine , etc)....any sane person would agree really
I think there is a good chance the US military have alien craft and bodies (Roswell and others)...that's probably the most far out one, right ?

I had a couple of internet friends who went down this path. To be honest I found it interesting to see the psychology behind it. Generally they're not very bright, looking for easy to grasp takes on things they can't understand and therefore don't trust. Ie science. As much as I wouldn't want to spend time with them irl I don't necessarily judge them for it. They're just struggling with the world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think it's only a question of intelligence, though there is some correlation with education (which is not the same as intelligence, obviously). I think there has to be some kind of psychological trigger as well. It's often been written about that those who are attracted to conspiracy theories tend to be susceptible to a Manichean worldview, i.e. a strong (and simplistic) sense of a battle between good and evil. The unwillingness to embrace the idea that bad things happen in the world due to a sum of unfathomable interactions between countless phenomena, cultural and economic forces pushing in infinite directions may be harder for some than others to grasp intellectually. But also plenty of smart and well educated people are psychologically attracted to certainty, clarity and the idea that things can be easily explained and solved.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I wouldn't attribute it solely to education or even intelligence (though in my experience it tracks) more that critical thinking is a specific skill that some very clever people don't have. We're all good at different things and that's fine. Like you say, there's much brighter people than us who believe in things science can't prove because they want to.
I think it's useful to remember the context here, though. To believe in a massive global conspiracy (that by definition would involve thousands of people if not more) to kill people with vaccines when there's no actual evidence for it, not a single whistle blower with any credibility.. either you're dumb or you're just being willfully ignorant, which is probably worse.
All of which to say, I didn't unfriend or block or engage with those people spreading Covid conspiracy nonsense. Partly because it was funny, partly because I think it's important to expose yourself to what's going on on both sides of the debate. However ridiculous you think it is. Now if it was a loved one or someone putting my loved ones at risk.. maybe I'd take a different stand on it

They are the very worst people on the planet.

Is operation northwoods a conspiracy theory
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah so no-one is saying there has never been a conspiracy but a CIA proposal half a century ago doesn’t mean all the scientists everywhere are lying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't think operation northwoods is relevant today considering 911.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, of course I don’t.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well look what operation northwoods was to create a serious of terrorist attacks in order to blame Cuba. This involved using military aircraft

Haven’t read past the first paragraph of the OP but why the feck would you fall out with somebody over Scamdemic talk? I mean I’ve had plenty of arguments with friends and especially my family about it but then you just move onto the next discussion.

I'm not anti Covid jab...I've had 3 of them
The safety profile of the vaccine was rushed through ....there's no argument about that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can we focus on a more extreme conspiracy example so you are playing your role on this article correctly and meet expectations of the fellow members? What's your most extreme view that we think we will be entertained by?

Has been pretty much dead-on for the past 40 years. Their most likely outcome prediction for 2023 is 420 ppm CO2 and 1.2 °C rise in temperature. The actual values were... 421 ppm and 1.17 °C.

Very professional. Have you worked in a spin department by any chance, or just years of experience looking for the positives of Dundee results?
