How is it my wheelie garbage cans did not role down the street this morning when i puttem out?

Maybe it's concave and the troff is rite in the middle of yur streat.
Or maybe it is round and weir linlving on the incyde of the curkle
Maybe it's a cylinder and we're all living inside the cylinder.
Or is that a plot by Big Washing Machine to make us think we're living inside a big washing machine?
It's a Hotpoint of contention...

Let's not turn this into a pun thread. There's as much chance of the world being cylindrical as pigs flying. But if pigs were to fly, where about in the Earth's atmosphere would they fly? I imagine the Troughosphere.

I tend to keep a lookout for what's going on in the Ionosphere
Speaking of which, one conspiracy theory I did find fascinating was the HAARP one.
Some of the YouTube videos of unexplained noises coming from the sky are amazing.

That the one about it controlling weather?
The bloke I mentioned right at the very start giving me grief in a Facebook has just posted this on his Facebook 'wall' now (it was screenshoted and sent to me):
Amidst this conscription discourse, a stark challenge arises.
Those proudly displaying Ukrainian flags online are now beckoned to turn virtual support into tangible sacrifice.
Will the digital solidarity withstand the test of reality?
I doubt it.
Not a conspiracy but the weather forecasts on ski resort websites are incorrect to make you go there skiing. If it is a cloudy or snowy day then people don't go as it's shiiite so they stick up a sunny with cloud symbol instead of the actual forecast.
FFS this will be full of conspiracy theories soon enough:

The anti-mask thing has the same dynamics of right-wing libertarianism, in that it presents itself as an objection to infringement of individual freedom, but really it's based on hostility to exercise of the common good. The same people tend to be fine with banning books that acknowledge the existence of gay and trans people. It's just any hint of coordinated solidarity that sends them to the barricades.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One thing I will say is that some of the banned books were genuinely abhorrent and had no place in schools. One in particular, "Let's Talk About It" had a page where it told kids to go online and discuss kink with strangers. There were a few more pretty dodgy ones too.
Of course American liberals go on to make themselves look like idiots by defending this, and then conservatives try to use it as justification for banning all secks education entirely!
