We lost to Villa at home.......and we play them away on March 10th. Not the best of records going into that match, but we have a full squad back in action now!

So....should know if we get 4th spot by then!

We are 0.01 point behind the Germans who are in 2nd place. Every English team left in Europe were group winners meaning we have favourable ties and are at home in the second leg. The CL favourites are Man City, the Europa league favourites are Liverpool and the Conference league favourites are Villa - we are in an incredibly strong position and the super computer reckons our chance of getting an extra CL spot is 80% currently.

It will honestly take an unprecedented disaster from the English clubs in Europe to not get that extra spot this season

Was reading that on Saturday we put Maddison in charge of protecting Vic at set pieces and it worked well - I hadn’t picked up on it at the time but looking back can see it now. Maddison picked up a couple of free kicks for us on their set pieces - seems we have wised up.

Apparently we wrote to PGMOL asking them to explain why the City and Everton goals were allowed to stand as our interpretation of the rules were that would be a foul - obviously worked as like is said Maddison drew a couple of Saturday

We really have to do better at protecting Vicario on corners. Anyone trying to lean on Vicario should get an elbow in the guts, ....whatever it takes they should be flattened before the kick.

Hmmm, ok, well that’s good I guess, aim to finish as high as possible.

We have an outside chance of winning the league. Our fixtures are great up to the middle of April. But if we want to get near it we obviously need to improve on recent performances and find ways to more convincingly beat the opposition, not scrape through them all the time. Hopefully this will come with having a full strength team back.

4th is on my mind, anything better is a bonus.

Would love it if we came second secured with a goal scored in the 96th minute after a lengthy VAR check of the last match with City in first only for City to get a massive deduction in points giving us the title

Well we better win now at The Kenny now that my Bedfordshire chums have come up with a ticket for me attend the game with them on Sunday.

Luton 0-3 United

Come On You Reds!

Can see Fulham vs Villa ending in a draw, United will beat Luton comfortably and I reckon we will squeak past Wolves.

Then we get a weeks break before playing Palace with a new manager - just our luck.

If we’re finishing top 4 then near max points need to be taken from our next 7 or 8 fixtures as the run in is horrendous for us.
