Only definite for the forward line is Sarabia as things stand. We will definitely be looking weak up front if Neto isn’t one of the others. I would like to see Fraser given a chance, at least he’s a centre forward. Bellegarde still has to prove himself but if Neto doesn’t play then I’d put Bellegarde wide where he’s shown more promise than when he plays centrally

One of my step daughters has just moved in to a flat in Wembley overlooking the stadium. Hope we'll be paying her a visit in April.

Have you tied the knot with your Evertonian lass yet goldi?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No mate, but being a leap year she was getting a bit of pressure from her mates and sister (who's desperate to go hat shopping) to pop the question last week. We're not bothered about it tbh, both been there and done it.

Step daughters are the ex's by the way - from her first marriage but they spent more time with me growing up than their Dad and we're all still close.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, marriage is mostly pointless. I never would have but for it making life easier living in the US.

Plenty of Wolves interest in the Villareal v Granada game last night which the home team won 5-1. Guedes scored for Villareal and Corbeanu got the consolation goal for Granada. But the most positive news is that Mosquera is establishing himself as a regular in the Villareal defence. He has started the last four games and impressed and they haven’t lost when he’s played. He looks sure to be part of the Wolves first team squad next season

Latest club to come under scrutiny for ffp is Villa. Their accounts up to last summer showed an overspend in the year of £120m. Speculation is that they may need to sell a player or two before the end of June to move into profit in the current year toavoid a penalty.

It looks like the rules around ffp may well change again very soon, maybe for next season. UEFA have come up with a model that all leagues in Europe are considering. This would mean that the total net spend on transfers, fees and salaries could not come to more than 70% of a clubs income

That will again benefit the big six/seven.

Wolves U21s did better than the first team last night by getting a 2-2 draw against Newcastle. Midfielder Tom Edozie has been a regular for the U18s this season but made his debut for the U21s last night and scored both goals

50th anniversary of our League Cup Final win against Man City this week. The game will be remembered at Molineux on Saturday with players like Kenny Hibbitt, Geoff Palmer and John McAlle in attendance

Kenny Hibbitt, in my memory, reminded me, in terms of goals from outside the area, of Ruben Neves. Perhaps with less finesse but more power.

I see Tam and Cinci are trying to hold a sensible discussion over on the Laughing Stockspurs board with their (predominantly) deluded muppet fanbase

We’ve done the double over them this season and they’re wondering if any of our players are good enough for them!

Perhaps we should discuss as to wether any of their players are good enough for us ?

Exactly this. Most of their squad are injury prone lightweights. Maybe GON could coach some discipline into Romero?

Vicario would probably be a stronger back up to Sa than Bentley, would be debatable though.

I’m surprised they’re top half to be honest.

The unlucky Sasa Kalazdjic won’t play again this season and may well not be fit for the start of next season. A consequence is that his loan to Eintracht Frankfurt is now over and he is back on to the Wolves payroll. Although he is evidently currently in Austria having treatment from a specialist sports injury physio to help his recovery

Fortunately his coffee shop in Tettenhall is evidently busy most days, so it’s far from all doom and gloom. ☕️🍰

Nunes injured for City tonight. Dislocation with his finger off at right angles to his hand. Painful!
