But we are the highest scorers from set pieces in L1. Amazing.

That was what I call a win based on pragmatism; a thoroughly professional job with few frills. LO were made to look ordinary and vulnerable to set pieces. While we did put a few dangerous moves together it still remains that their goalie had no shots to save. Should that be a worry after two such games? Not trying to be negative.

There were lots of really solid performances such that it's hard to pick a MOM but Bradley's two goals clinch it for him. (Shows how little I know when I said beforehand that he should only be on the bench!) Wildsmith had nowt to do; Wilson and Sibs were excellent as were the back three; Thommo, Smith and Adams were everywhere, snapping and harrying; NML was a menace and always looking to cause a problem and Collo again showed his value giving their defence no chance to relax and finally all the subs did their bit.

Results elsewhere were very helpful and it's good to have it back in our hands.

Best GD as well
