We went about it the right way today and by the time we started running out of energy in the second half it was pretty much done. I thought we should have brought on fresh legs earlier really. A bit of redemption for Sonny. I thought Sibley had another very solid game but I had Collins as my man of the match. He was tireless and in the second half often seen helping out the midfield, sometimes at the edge of our box. A great all round centre forward performance.

On the brink now. Bolton might just slip up midweek, you never know, but if not then surely a win at Cambridge would seal it.

That was what I call a win based on pragmatism; a thoroughly professional job with few frills. LO were made to look ordinary and vulnerable to set pieces. While we did put a few dangerous moves together it still remains that their goalie had no shots to save.

Goalie made a great block to NML second half. Would have definitely scored.

Apparently us getting to 86 points beats our previous best ever points total (85).

NML should have scored, Sibley should have scored, Washington should have scored. Gayle would have had several today if he had been fit.

I wonder if we'll see Gayle again?

Maybe not unless it's play-offs. I would keep him on next season though. We will need striking upgrades regardless but he could play a part, even in the Championship. I imagine he could also be useful teaching Dajaune Brown a thing or two.
