I think even if Liverpool/west ham win their games but don't go through the co-efficients get boosted in England's favour?

It's ludicrous either way, AT MOST European places should go to the top 2 teams of each league.

I like this thread...........I can't understand it!

It's a great season if you like random things to happen. This is the season where 5th might get you top 4.

What really puts a twist on things is the same can happen at the other end of the table. Everton could finish 16th after 38 games, but the PL may decide well that's boring let's make them bottom three.

I can't wait for season 2. There's going to be some really great stuff happening for City & Chelsea

Given Spurs run in… & their pathetic performance at Newcastle…. You wouldn’t even
guarantee Spurs would finish at least 5th!!

But anyway., cl was only for champions of their respective leagues and it should be that way but broadcasters wanted to squeeze every cents from favs and extended the competition but really this didn’t lead to better spectacle barca few like Ajax v Spurs few years back

Won't be long until we are talking about the top 10 going into the CL with the bottom 5 going through a playoff round first and top 5 straight in.

From that if looks like England is guaranteed 5th place getting top 4 in the PL. How exactly are Italy and Germany going to overtake England from there?
