How often have we all pulled a 'sickie' from work in our lives?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Approx a dozen times
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the last month?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
to be fair I don't often take sick days, one thing my Maw drilled into me was get to work and earn it

He's talking bollox I think.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My guess would be he still knows people within the club, and it probably isn’t bollox or he wouldn’t be saying it on national TV.

Jus because Bruno doesn't miss games doesn't .ean it's not true though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think Rooney has any evidence of this - just speculation on his part. Does he think they have been feigning injury for most of the season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. He clearly said it's because if the Euros and FA cup final. Why would it happen any other time in the season? You guys are being intentionally obtuse because you don't want this to be true. Maybe things like this are what's holding United back.

Rooney certainly loves the club more than most of those jokers in the pitch wearing your colours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I don't feel he's right, maybe it's just his opinion and that's fair enough but the injuries have been rife since the start of the season, each to their own however
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's just stoking the fire. They should have asked him who, and he would have said, 'well I can't say / don't have names'. It's just his opinion, without proof.

Yeh Kinsang I get the impression that he's just threw that out there without and solid evidence, fair enough I get pundits do that on occasion

Suspect it’s just Rooney talking booollocks.

It'll be the usual suspects, like Bruno.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bruno has only missed 2, now 3, games in his entire career 'with an injury'. Think again. Unless you meant the unsusual suspects
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This. Whatever else you want to fling at Bruno, failing to make himself available because he has a slight knock isn't an accusation that will stick.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clockwork is being sarcastic I suspect...

Ex players always talk sh-t, it’s exactly this sort of rubbish the TV channels and papers want, Rooney’s no exception.

Does Rooney have a habit of doing this? Does he keep saying whatever pops into his head?

Can't you see that can't be true? He knows the iniact of saying what he said and this is obviously calculated and he knew what he was doing IMO. He's probably fed up, like most of your fans.

Very sceptical this is the case considering players want to get into the team for the cup final and also some will be conscious they need to up their game to make the EURO's and time is running out to prove this.

posted on 12/5/24

Yeah it just doesn't make any sense to me. Believe me, I'm certainly not quick to defend our players as I don't think they've done much to warrant it. But I don't think any of them have feigned injury or refused to play because they felt a bit of pain

posted on 12/5/24

Haven't seen the comments having just got in from the game but I genuinely don't like the fact the media is made up of lots of ex United players. I don't think it does us any favours whatsoever.

This for example, with actually seeing Rooney's saying it, is obviously BS. Nobody is feigning injury 2 weeks before the FA cup final and with the Euros around the corner.

We've been an embarrassment all season so why is it only now they can't supposedly take the shame? It makes no sense. They've had no issues phoning it in since August the majority of them.

If someone told me Varane has given up I would believe it.

Martial I put in same camp.

Yes timing is wrong, I don’t believe it
Is complete BS as some are making it out to be. Although I don’t think Bruno a culprit, this idea he is not capable of this is also nonsense. I saw Bruno done a runner at Anfield when we were getting flogged!

Is it any wonder if they aren't playing for him when he kicked their mate out of the club to replace him with Onana.

Then he's picked Antony over Amad constantly who looks the far better player.

It's not just injuries that have been the issue this season although obviously they have the been the biggest factor. He's made matters even worse by stupid
decisions all season too with the tactics and team selections.

Amrabat today actually made us look like a team who don't get sliced open at will every 30 seconds. He's barely picked him though.

He's just a poor manager out of his depth. He needs to go.
