BTW - Kyogo hasnt scored in the last two games against Rangers - a streak I personally cant see lasting much longer, particularly given the fact we are down to two centre backs that have been completely out the picture this season (for obvious reasons).
For me saturdays value bet is Celtic to win Kyogo anytime goalscorer at 9/4.

you forget that reports have Utrecht paying 8m euro for Lammers !!!
some of the clickbait $hite you get online is a joke !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have already spent that on Diomande and the Silva loan.
All part of the cunning financial masterplan.
Reality is we are a bit fooked.
Can they not just blow the whistle on the season now and put us out of our misery?
If we need to start Leon King at the weekend I would put Idah up against him - he will win every single ball. Nice enough footballer but weak as pash in the air and zero real defensive instincts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
King is the archetypal early developer - was a monster at 15 and was pushed up the age groups. He'll have a professional career OK but he's going to have to push on somehow to get in at Ibrox. That said I haven't seen enough of him recently, fack knows what else is going on in his life that might be impacting and it is tough being frozen out then thrown in with little top level match sharpness cf Welshyyyy, Lager, Rocky.
For me saturdays value bet is Celtic to win Kyogo anytime goalscorer at 9/4.

Kuhn - don't think theres much there

Celtic will try to sell Palma in the summer. He's off if they get a decent offer. Otherwise he'll go on loan. If all else fails, he'll be a squad player but we won't see much of him.
Brendan likes Kuhn. Feels that he has the pace to hurt sides and just needs to build confidence and belief. He'll be a regular starter assuming he develops as expected.

Or we're determined to keep making the league a real race so the customers don't drift away.
Kuhn being short of confidence is no excuse for him not showing flashes of this electric pace he's supposed to have though maybe his complete indecision at the critical point. As for his lack of appetite for the battle I am calling dud at the moment but yeah, give him a bit more time.
It looks like our first signings are nearly done.
Jefte a 20yo Brazilian LB from Fluminense spent last season on loan at APOEL (under 500k). 7 goals and assists in 22 games there last season.
Cordoba a 22yo Panamanian international CB (2m plus add ons which could rise to 3.2m) from Levski Sofia.
Being an avid watcher of Cypriot football and dabbling in the Bulgarian Prem I can tell you I know absolutely fook all about either of them.

My uncle who you met a few years back almost signed for Rangers as a youth. When you met him he was in a wheelchair with MS which sadly he eventually passed away from.
He was apparently a terrific player as a teenager and had a lot of teams after him. At the same time my Papa played in a band at the Barrowland Ballroom and was always talking to the Rangers players and manager Jock Wallace. (I only found out in recent years my Papa was a Rangers fan - that's another story).
Anyway Jock Wallace promised my Papa he would check out my uncle. He did and was impressed. Jim went to a trial at Rangers for a number of weeks and the coaches wanted him. They turned up at my Nana and Papa's house to sign him. Name - tick
Date of Birth - tick. School - St P "sorry did you say Saint?" I think we have the wrong house
Jock Wallace then that weekend to my Papa "you didn't tell me your son went to a Catholic school"
He still played to a good level while working in the shipyards until he was diagnosed with MS and that ended his footballing days anyway

100% correct
a complete empty bag of crisps , hes a wee shietebag and yes where is this pace hes meant to have ?
hes not been as fast since his toothache ?
Great story.
Can't top that though junior's story was that every summer holidays old Rangers arranged a BC tournament at the HSOG at Anniesland. Covered several age groups but basically they were looking for talent.
Junior was only 8 but playing up a year. Being the holidays lots of boys were away and the year up again were short of players and asked him and Hickey if they'd stay for the afternoon and help them out. Next thing I know I get a call from the coach saying you better get down here. Thought an injury but it was the Celtic scouts wanting a word. When I got there they asked me 3 times about his DoB because they didn't believe he was so young playing in that team.
He was a few weeks watched some more at their Toryglen assessment centre - he'd always played LW but told them he was a striker! (Now you know where that goal at the weekend came from ) Then I got called in and asked if he could travel to Belgium for a tournament and he was brought in to Lennoxtown to train and straight on the treadmill of 5-7 days a week.
So, stolen from under the noses of the bears! Don't think his Oirishy name had ought to do with it!
As an aside him and Hickey aside from being mates were always decent and two footed. I bumped into the Celtic scout who'd been watching Hickey at Toryglen when he was at Hearts first time and we were discussing that. He said never say that. Always say he's a lefty because clubs value lefties and more likely to sign than someone they cannot pigeon-hole.
He said he could run at 37Km/h , which had me chucking juice at my pant lining
But i hadnt considered that any wind resistance or tall blades of grass would effectively render the wee skelf to Neil Lennon speed grade
Bahahaha - John Mason calling for points deductions for the Trongate celebration!

A striker's instinct for that goal
CS Jnr is defnitely two footed though is down as right footed. While most of his goals (there aren't many) come from his right foot I'd say most of his assists come from his left.
I am going to go through his recordings to put a better reel together than his own notes and I reckon there will be a lot more left sided passing than right. We will see

That was my thinking in Palma, Rodgers seems to like direct and pacy wide players and I think in Rodgers system Palma would be better suited to playing infield.

Rumbled!
Almost got junior KB'd from the academy saved by his Oirishy given name!
As an aside, I was at school with a lad surname McWilliams and his nickname was KB - he was afflicted with terrible acne - went through more ZyklonB than Auschwitz - and only ever got KB'd by birds. He became a dentist and I always wondered if it cleared up before he was leering over people.

We will see
