I would take him

Really? He is not very good and comes with a fair amount of off field baggage.
I really doubt we’ll be selling Rashford this summer.
More chance Kane going to Arsenal lol.
No way he abandons all those starving kids in the north of England.
Don’t think you could afford him tbf, I think Rice was your limit
I prefer Nico Williams because he is cheaper, has something to prove and is younger.
But Rashford does fit the system and Arteta has turned around Havertz, and Rashford can be too.
How does Rashford fit the system? He’s terrible out of possession, for one thing.

He's not that good in possession either as far as his link-up play goes. I think he's only terrible out of possession as far as pressing/marking/making recovery runs to assist the defense, but he makes good runs off the ball when his team is in transition.
Yeah that’s another issue, but I don’t think there’s a chance that Arteta would want to carry such a passenger out of possession.

Arsenal play in zones and we need a direct attacker who accelerates over short distances and can score cutting in from the left. Declan Rice and Havertz also drop deeper on the left so Rashford doesn't need to be chasing back as a traditional winger like he has to for Utd.
It's why Foden and Sterling have been very effective for City in that role.
Rashford chases back. Good one.
Read my comment. Rashford does NOT. But Utd use him as they would a traditional winger where it is required. That's why he looks so bad out of possession.
He looks so bad out of possession because he’s terrible out of possession. That’s evident whether we want him tracking back or pressing high. I’m really not sure how anyone can watch Rashford and think he’d suit Arsenal’s system, he’s the antithesis of what Arteta asks from his players in and out of possession.
Why would Arsenal want to strengthen a rival?

We don't play counter attack. We either play a press where certain players are asked to press zones or we play a low block/mid block where players are always facing their attackers. Even Rashford can do that!
Chelsea fans used to say how Havertz was useless in possession and his passing was weak. Arteta has used him brilliantly in a new role, and he has flourished.
I trust Arteta do the same for Rashford if there is anything to the rumour.
I've already stated my preference, but I trust in our system and Arteta if he is serious in going after Rashford.
He can’t. That Arsenal don’t play on the counter that often is precisely why he doesn’t fit the system because that’s where Rashford thrives. It’s precisely why so many want him to leave, because many want a more possession dominant side that are good at pressing and breaking teams down with possession, he’s just incapable of thriving in those conditions because he lacks the technical and tactical ability needed, and is facking lazy.
Your present manager is useless in organising anything other than counter-attack! So do you trust that it is Rashford's fault for not carrying out instructions or for Ten Hag not drilling the team properly?
I don't think Rashford has ever played in a properly organised Pep type system. Now he could fail to adapt. But if Arteta thinks he will be able to get a tune out of him, who am I to say no after seeing the transformation of Havertz?

This is true.
United are a counterattacking team and have been ever since fergie left.
Saying that, I do think Rashford is technically good enough to adjust
It’s Rashford. Most of his teammates are vastly superior in these departments.
You can base your opinion on Arteta wanting, him based on rumours of something that isn’t going to happen, but watching him play most of his 462 senior appearances will give you a much better idea of what Rashord is and isn’t as a player - you will struggle to find anyone that has watched him this often that would agree with what you’re saying.
Chelsea fans said the same.
Don't think he could add anything positive to what we already have but Havertz has turned into a decent signing with similar concerns. With regards to his work rate that would obviously need to change Arteta won't tolerate free loaders as evidenced by those he's kicked out of the club already.
