10000000000000000000000% The Office
If anyone says any other show than The Office then they're wrong.
'Ohhhh I just want to be popular as the new boss!! Pathetic'

LoL
What a post
Ofaf, inbetweeners, blackadder, it crowd. Father Ted , the thick of it , peep show
It's not BBC. But Nathan Barley was peak comedy for me.
Except for the huge amount of free to air major sport that they show here which puts England to shame of course.

That’s what happen when you vote in Tory gov’s who bend over for Murdoch, and the fault of the idiots that continually pay 80 quid a month for sky- it’s their fault

We get 4 AFL and 4 NRL games free on tv every week. Would it really hurt the PL to do that in England?

not sure about peak tv, but it was totally f*cking mexico
Partridge for me too... Genius and the way he's evolved over the decades is amazing!
I have just started rewatching "The league of gentlemen" and it is also a work of genius. So much packed into each episode.
Of the newer stuff, I like "The Young Offenders" and "This Country".

Love thy Neighbour
Mind Your Language

I think they were both ITV/Thames whatever Boris.
A really underrated comedy which I loved was How Not to Live your Life.
I'm just watching One Foot in the Grave all over again.
It's one of the best for me. Quite dark and surreal but fantastic.
To be fair to Australia though I do find Aussie films and dramas more watchable than US ones on the whole.
The Young Ones.
I’d say British comedy in recent years hasn’t been that good, unless Succession counts?

We do amazing films. Just not great TV (apart from things like Rake and Mr Inbetween)
Neighbours, blue heelers, the Sullivan's, prisoner, flying doctors, sons and daughters...
Til Death Us Do Part
Little Britain
The 2nd series of Partridge where he's living in the hotel takes some beating.
The episodes of This Country that include Martin Mucklow are right up my street.
Although I liked the American Office I much prefer the original, the Shooters Nightclub episode reminds me so much of what those sorts of places were like 20 years ago.

He’s in the hotel in series 1 but it’s still excellent. Though I prefer series 2. That Bond caravan scene is a GOAT
Little Britain was funny at the time but hasn't aged well IMO.

I thought series 1 was just interviews and we didn't see his home?
Just realised it was Chasers not Shooters Nightclub in Slough but you get the point!
The best partridge was Knowing me knowing you
His guests (mainly Patrick marber characters) were incredible
