If technology is going to be used it will deal in absolutes...if the big toe is the reference point amd its ahead of the reference point used for the defender...it's offside, end of
If that is deemed too harsh on attackers, then perhaps they should build a tolerance into the system, where the distance between the two reference points has to be at least 1ft, or something along those lines, that will then give the attacking player a bit more of an advantage...it will still result in marginal calls, but at least a computer system can define when toaow the correct call
The problem as always is not VAR itself...it's how it's being implemented
