I was at the Spain game. Scotland did very well to win the game, but Spain put out a mid-table La Liga side that does not resemble their current team.

With the players we have got, Clarke has done a great job to get to within 1 goal either way of getting to R16. I admit we were toothless tonight and sadly lack the quality required to go further.

We were pash … no argument. Still had a stonewall pen inexplicably not given late on at 0-0. The big teams, or even Eng, get them every time.

Did a great job in qualifying, but ultimately he’s a boring, defensive cant to the bitter end. Must win game and he finally throws on a winger, for the first time all tournament, in the 88th fecking minute … and arguably our on form winger, Forrest, doesn’t kick a ball. Clarke needs to fook off now.

The tournament has expanded to 24 teams. The World Cup is being expanded. It’s far easier than ever before for shiiit countries to qualify so looking backwards doesn’t quite tell the full story.

Fact is he’s been awful tactically in this tournament. You’ve been the most negative team here and that’s on him. What’s the point of qualifying if you’re barely going to get in the opposition box?

Scotland never looked like scoring all tournament - even when they did score - it was basically 2 own goals.

Must win game and Clarkes big game plan was to wait until the Hungarians were desperate and then try to hit them on the counter with the b team attackers? How can waiting late but also taking Adam’s and Mc Ginn off be the plan.

Just no idea at this level - Georgia have performed better

Georgia were in our group and we beat them comfortably at home in terrible conditions. We had a tropical downpour which waterlogged the pitch and the game had to be postponed for it to drain, and in which I got facking soaked on the way to Hampden

2-2 in the away game which I didn't see.

Georgia only have 1 point and have Portugal next, so will likely have the same output as Scotland in this tournament. Not sure why they have been brought up.
