There might be fewer swing voters, but many more are undecided on whether to actually vote or not. Foreign policy is rarely an influential factor on US elections, but Biden's stance on Gaza looks like going a long way towards demobilising younger Democrat voters.

Yeah he was great as always
The whole way both Biden and Trump just shows the power of confidence to be honest.
Biden was slow and quiet but he largely answered the questions, whilst Trump didn't answer a single thing and went off on his weird tangents but he did it loudly and with confidence.
In terms of cognitive ability I'd actually say Biden still has more, but he can't sell it the way Trump does.

I've never seen trucks, boats, houses etc adorned with photoshopped flags of their messiah.
If Biden loses the election, you will not see a huge angry mob storming the capitol.
If he was sent to jail, most on the left would accept it and be glad justice was done.
When Biden says something the left disagree with, eg, Isreali support, they are quick to let him know and some will even no longer vote for him.
Both sides are NOT equal.

I think the smartest thing Trump has ever said is that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and wouldn't lose any support.
Are Reform bringing the American model here? Comments from Farage's mates caught by an under cover guy will just appeal more to those inclined to vote Reform.
People who are inclined to vote Reform are more likely to agree that migrants should be shot on the beach, rather than be outraged by the comments. So it strengthens their position. Also the more extreme the better for them.
Is the Tories' move in the next election to try to become Reform due to the way the political landscape is going?

Newsom beats Trump in California, but poll after poll has suggested that Trump would wipe the floor with him nationally.
Versus Newsom, Harris and Whitmer, probably the highest profile alternatives, Biden has continually come out comfortably on top in polls.
It’s looks like an impossible choice for the Dems between a candidate who is (literally) fading away in front the American public’s eyes, and A N Other strategically inferior alternative.
