Everton sale is off, looks like they are desperate to sell more players. Offer a takeaway it or leave it sum of 50m for Branthwaite.
Rabiot is a far better player than Amrabat though, who was pretty poor most of the time for us. Had a few above average games and that’s it.
Would depend on his attitude/baggage/mum/salary though.

Veronique is a bigger issue - his potty mouthed mum and agent. We need more harmony around the club, not people willing to cause trouble at any given opportunity.
Amrabat was brilliant during the cup final, if he could make that his standard then it's a massive yes otherwise he's underwhelmed for majority of the season when we know the ability is there.
I like the sound of Kadioglu at Fenerbache. Can play at fullback, DM and out on the wing. Always handy having a multipurpose player.
There’s merit in the argument about Rabiot and his mother being diiiiiickheads. But that shouldn’t mean the alternative is Amrabat, because he’s shiiiiiit.

I like him too.
If Shaw is fit he starts at LB so Kadioglu could easily play RB. Imagine the balance and width both would provide!
Is the Rabiot baggage not something of a thing of the past? For a player who apparently comes with all these difficulties, he seems to have continued to be a main stay at top European clubs and the France national team.
On a free transfer he might be a savvy signing with lots of experience. If both McT & Casemiro were to leave then Rabiot on a free would represent excellent value - his wages won't be higher than Casemiro's were so we'd be making a decent saving in combination with the former's transfer fees.
I'd still love it if Casemiro found his form and fitness and go back to his levels during the first two thirds of his first season for us though.
Having said that I've just recalled that Rabiot did come out with a statement about Yamal that ended up biting him on the backside pretty hard during the Euros so maybe I was being a little generous about him.

Wasn't shiiiiit during the cup final though, so theres player in him, why didn't he do that more often during the season is probably a question he should be asking himself.
Rabiot on a free with£5m signing on fee and wages of around £140k wouldn't be too bad IMO on a two year contract.
We could always sell him next Summer then for a lowish fee which would probably cover his wages for the year.
I guess while Ambrabat was good in the final it was the kind of game where he's useful which 90% of the time won't be the game plan we play.
Does a 29 year old want to sign a 2 year contract?

Perhaps not but if he's offered a good signing on fee who knows? I'm going on the theory we're not as stupid as we were! When that contract ends he could also get a juicy new signing on fee somewhere else too.

Daley Blind type with more pace, very useful player from what little I saw at the Euros.
Kadioglu is the Turkish Zanetti.

Not when evaluating the performances of a footballer, why should it? One decent game among of sea of shiiiiiit does not mean he’s good enough.

Debut season, in a team playing cr@p generally, no one stood out. They've all been sheite, Casemiro in particular had been the worst of the bunch. At least Amrabat put in a performance of his life when it mattered!
Yes and we’ll be looking to move on the majority of the squad over the next couple of years because of it, not signing one of the players that was contributing to all the crap performances. He wasn’t even that good in the final either.
Scholes called his performance like a "prime Gattuso" btw. đ
Thought he was great in the final, gave the sort of performance we saw at the WC.
Defintely don't think we should buy him but if the club haven't identified anyone else and we are light in numbers as well as quality going into the season I wouldn't be against a 1 year loan rather than not having anyone.
