So the injury curse and the horrible officiating for us has not stopped! Can’t wait for the season to begin

Btw not bothering with the Betis game at 3 am on Thursday 🤣; Liverpool on 4th Aug is fine
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So we still on the west coast playing? 3am?!
You know, with INEOS here, I would like them to tell the Glazers to F off with the pre-season in the States.

Let them all come to us in England. Just one year, let’s not go anywhere, how beneficial would that be?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If there's not that much travelling involved once there I don't see the issue in playing in the US really.

It's good to get some warm weather training in and, with them being away from home, they can prepare without distractions.

Surprised Zirkzee hasn't made himself available for the tour. I know he'd have been training during the Euros, but after a big move, I'd have thought he'd want to get started ASAP.

Think its mandatory to have 2-3 weeks rest.

Apparently him and Mainoo are over in the US on holiday in and around the training camp without taking part.

We lost Mainoo for most of last season during last summers pre season US tour.

Hate these fookin tours

Just one time, i’d like to see UTD say, this year we ain’t doing a tour overseas, just to get our house in order.
Not taking our status for granted, but just one year out.

Like in this scenario, a Tournament year, we didn’t really have to go to the States.
Now the old regime were so incompetent, for the World Cup in the States, they most probably thinking, let’s book a tour of the Far East and Australia!

I dont think its the travelling that causes the injuries. Most could happen at Carrington.

They fly 1st class and have all sort of support in order to maintain fitness, plus, the other major clubs travel, so who would you play in Britain?

I dont think the travel is the issue, its the physical demands of the modern game, and number of fixtures.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Travelling, in particular long distance air travel, does not help with blood circulation. Travelling does not cause injuries, it does not aid recovery either.

You right, they have all that at their disposal…
I think I’m just so battered down by how we’ve been run these last 10 years.
But, you know, it’s be nice to see the big teams come to England once in a while.

I think I haven’t gotten over how bad it was last season.
We went from East Coast to West Coast.. should’ve been the other way round.
seems they’ve learnt their lesson this time round..

🙏 let’s just hope.
And with the youthful age, hopefully he’ll heal up quick time.
But how much we expecting Yoro to play?
Especially if we get another CB. We can’t go totally youth.
As you know, you can’t win anything with kids

Potentially a hairline fracture for Yoro doing the rounds on twitter. 6-8 weeks out most likely if that's the case. Will be confirmed soon no doubt but let's hope it's not that bad.

He didn't train the day before the Arsenal game apparently as he was feeling pain.

Realistically given his age and inexperience I expect him to be eased into the first team. In reality though, I think lack of options dictates and he would have started every game.

His potential ceiling is a 10 out of 10, currently operating at a 7 or 8 no doubt but not consistently. The demands at Utd, the physical demands of EPL footy will take its toll, he's no longer in Ligue 1. He'll need time to settle in Manchester and acclimatise to the league so we need more depth and competition. Definitely need another CB.

Do you have a reliable source? I had a scan on X and can't see what you're claiming, SE85.

Would be a disaster if the what you're claiming is true, hope it's less serious!

I can't see it trending on X mate so was curious who this ITK was. If it's not reliable then they are spreading BS and best to avoid. But anyway, let's keep everything crossed it's nothing serious. We need some bloody luck!

It won't be trending as it's not confirmed and not coming from lots of journalists.

The fact he looked like he couldn't put any weight on it doesn't bode well though. I'm fearing the worst.
