Quite likely we’d be pushed higher up if we weren’t needing to start Maguire and Evans at CB. Gap between midfield and defence is pretty big.

Spent all the money on strikers and defenders. Didn't keep the one midfielder we had with bite. We are left with our best midfielder being a 19 year old product.

Yeah disappointing Pep has stuck with the youth that played well in pre season and ETH didn’t with Amass and Collyer, they wouldn’t have done any worse than their replacements so far and would’ve been fitter too.
