Think the community shield seems to ‘feel’ like more of a friendly/pre season game when there’s been a summer tournament.

Both sides obviously sharper and full strength a lot of the time in years without one.

This is Amad's coming of age season

Really glad Amad looks to have picked up where he left off last season. I love this kid.

Not playing Sancho, who had a complete preseason is disrespectful ; playing your best central defender as left back is inexplicable.

His loans worked well for him. Doesn’t for everyone of course. Spent fckin 7625 million on players in his spot since we got him and he might yet take that spot back.

Doku’s a funny player. Every game I watch him and think he looks seriously dangerous whenever he gets on the ball … but his end product is invariably fook all. Final ball, cross or shot nearly always fizzles out to nothing.
