Just caught the BBC highlights, that second yellow was pretty harsh like. Was surprised it was called as a yellow tbh.

thoughts for today.

1. don't like rangers, glad they lost. ha ha ha.

2. don't like celtic board, they are whanks, holding us back with their whanky behaviour, while they sit up there, whanking each other with tenners listening to rod stewart.

That's a lot of rods and a lot of tenors

Shafted by the ref last night.

Felt we would go on to win it if we had kept 11 men on the pitch. I said during the first half I'd be subbing Jefte off though as he continued to foul after being booked.

Surprised Clement didn't do that but in the end it's a refereeing mistake that fooks us.

On the bright side we won't qualify for 8 spankings. Would have taken them for the cash but it's a thoroughly unenjoyable experience or at least was last time.

Not seen much made of Dessers having a go at the crowd btw.

Thought that was incredibly stupid of him considering his first touch for most of the game was a pass to Kyiv.

Fingers crossed that speeds up his departure the big donkey.

on the point of your man dessers, are you all just happy to dish it out to him but when he expects more of you it's unacceptable?

i had two thoughts watching the game last night.

1. dessers is unfortunate that he lacks the one thing you can't teach, instinct.

2. while tavernier can't defend, of all the player to make the scapegoat for your failures you guys choose the one who bailed you out more times than the rest put together. A full team of failures but he's the one that gets it .

For the very obvious reason, he's had high profile failings against celtic and that over shadows everything else.

The biggest influence on the game last night was clearly the ref. There isnt much that really needs to be said about Jeftes card - it was an utterly pathetic decision and we might as well all chuck it if that is deemed a foul never mind a yellow.

On the night that obviously changed the game completely, but the real reason we went out last night was the absolute state of the club - the board, the team and the stadium debacle.

I didnt think that playing at Hampden would be a big deal but last night really showed how much it will cost us.

As for the team - I dont think anyone has been kidding on Rangers arent miles off it but last night highlighted just how bad things are.

We are clearly 4 or 5 next level first team players short of a half decent starting eleven. Connor Barron has immediately become our best player by some distance which says it all.

For us to be at this stage of the season and being completely reliant on Dessers as a CF is shambolic. I rightly praised the guys character last week but there is a reason he gets so much stick. Dessers is a 2nd or 3rd choice back up striker at best for us yet he has been our one and only option for the best part of a year. Unforgivable.

And do folks still think the suggestion of putting Danilo out on loan is 'mental'?

The very fact we are desperate for a goal in a huge game and we would rather put Propper up front than bring Danilo on tells you everything about where he is fitness wise. Why on earth is Danilo even in our squad if we dont give him 10 minutes when we desperately need a goal?

Rangers are in a really precarious position right now and the season is in danger of being over before its begun.

I feel for Clement because he has been sold a pup but he also needs to take some of the blame. Leaving Jefte on for the second half was a bit reckless - he gave away two fouls in a few minutes just before half time and he clearly didnt have the brains to work out the ref was a bit of a clown and he was running a huge risk.

The best Rangers will get now is to get a couple of the pretenders like Cantwell and Hagi off the books and bring in a couple of sub standard loan players.

Its going to be a belter of a season this one!

Can't say I watched the game but I did catch a few snatches and it seemed an even game in the first instance. Even die hards are admitting as such and that Dessers and Dowell were howling.

From what I hear Jefte got his 2nd yellow for persistent fouling. Surprised he wasn't hooked before reaching that point but Euro refs don't always give clear warnings and as all Scottish teams find out the Euro ref card threshold is way different to our own. Ref isn't obliged to warn nor is he obliged to make any indication why the yellow was brandished either though it might have helped soothe the seethe.

Don’t think the second yellow was a yellow card worthy offence in isolation, but the boy Jeff had committed multiple fouls while already on a yellow so saw second yellow as a card for persistent fouling.

Felt jefte had time to adjust his body and avoid the elbow. Can see why the ref gave it as it looked deliberate and was extremely dangerous.

Clement should have subbed him before that anyway as he was commiting a lot of stupid fouls despite being on a yellow.

Kyiv aint getting through they looked terrible. Not so sure the red card changed the game as both teams weren't at it.

Rangers dont seem to have any shape or style to their game. A lot of long balls upto dessers seems to be your managers tactics which is tactics from 90's.

Felt your keeper should have saved the first one. He was very slow to react and to get beat at your near post from 20 yards is criminal.

hampden is schite, even more schite when its half empty.

i didnt think kiev looked up to much, up until they scored i thought they didn't look capable of breaking rangers down. if anything rangers looked more likely.

Jefte was booked for his first foul, which was a soft yellow, but can understand how it was given.

He then committed three fouls. Yellow for persistent fouling for three fouls, 4 in a game? That’s just as bad a call as saying the yellow was deserved.

I think Dessers has great instinct to be honest, gets in the right positions all the time, movement is brilliant. Partly why he gets so many chances. He just can’t finish his dinner.

Tav was a scapegoat for years when he shouldn’t have been. But he’s worse than ever defensively. He was being targeted by Kiev. He’s past it.

The team is a mess all over, but understandable we want change.

i think he seriously lacks that killer instinct.

as for the jefte red, fair booking if you ask me...

Mate, late studs on a foot is always getting a yellow in Europe.

According to UEFA it was 11 fouls versus 6 made by Dynamo. I wasn't watching but going by others' accounts Jefte sounded like he was responsible for half his team's fouls and in Europe it is simply the thresholds are different as well as there being more variation in ref interpretations.

The players and manager had to 'read the room' as they should be doing every game but yes, our own refs don't prepare us for Europe very well and our own fans don't help pressurising refs for trying to emulate Euro standards.

could have gave the dinamo player a concussion.

if you think that doesn't deserve a booking maybe you have one too.

As I said last night it's a massive win-win for us

Rangers don't get the CL money or even the final qualifying round money

The fans give Clement a pass as they are too focused on the ref.

Dessers seems like a striker that could score 25 goals a season yet looks so clumsy so the fans will always get on his back. I fear him more than any other Rangers player because he can score when not expected to.

Tav getting flack is funny. We have always known he is a poor defender but when he was getting loads of penalties and free kicks he was a hero to Rangers fans. Now they have dried up for now his defensive exposure is greater. More respect needed for your Hall of Famer - give him a longer contract

mad they chased out goldson but kept souttar and davies.

Propper looks like a great alternative, there was a point last night he was up front and just stood staring at the ball as it dropped right in front of him

only annoying thing is you know peter is sitting there thinking we dont need to spend because rangers wont.

get that pwrick so far to fvck man.

i'm a missing something where he was actually good?

won the league in one freak of a season, needed a global catastrophe to achieve it.

We will add more to our team. They know O’Reilly is going and I don’t believe they’d dare have the gall to let that happen last minute and giving us no chance of strengthening.

Best scenario is of course that we keep him and still add to the team.
